Vote booster evaluation
1. Step 1)
The first step on creating
this poster was to take two
separate pictures of four
students, one of which was
myself. The original idea
was to have each student
take a picture separately
and then put them all
together on Photoshop but
then I thought it would be
easier just to take two.
These were the original
photos that were taken.
The ideas behind what's
happening in these pictures is
students waiting in a line to vote.
I wanted a variety of different
people and I wanted each person
to be doing something different.
For example I wanted the first
person to be standing up ready to
vote, the second to be on the
floor reading, the third to be
talking to the person behind her
while that person is texting on his
phone. As you can tell it didn’t
work out as well as I wanted it but
It still worked.
2. Step 2)
The second thing I had to
do is put both the
pictures together, this
was difficult as colours
were lighter in one image
than the other and I had
to work on two different
editing websites to get it
correct. I
brightened/contrasted it
on Photoshop but you
could see the line in the
middle separating the
picture looking like a
whole, so after trying it
several times on
Photoshop I tried it on a
different website.
On this website I was
able to blur the line
out slightly and make
the picture look more
together.
3. Step 3)
I then thought
of putting an
effect on the
image too. I
picked this
sort of chalk
board effect
as I thought it
looked like a
nice theme for
voting.
Step 4)
I then went back on
Photoshop and
brightened it one last
time and also added
the ‘vote booster’ logo.
This is the final design.
