Växjö International Students (VIS) is a student association at Växjö University in Sweden with approximately 550 international student members each fall and 450 each spring. VIS organizes both local and international social and cultural events throughout the academic year to welcome and integrate international students. The association is led by an elected board of 12 members who each have a specific role like president, treasurer, or activity coordinator. Board members are responsible for organizing events, answering student questions, participating in other events, and helping their fellow board members lead VIS.
