2. INTRODUCTION
 China has unveiled a track-less train that runs on virtual rails in a bid to speed up
public transportation in major cities.
 The new trains were announced on June 2 in Zhuzhou, China's Hunan province
and are said to be non-polluting.
 The Chinese rail corporation began designing the new system in 2013 and it is set
to begin operating in 2018.

3. SPECIFICATION
 Runs on rubber wheels with a plastic core.
 It is equipped with various sensors to assist the driver in following the route on a
virtual track
 A Collision Warning System supports the driver on keeping a safe distance with
other vehicles on the road.
 The Route Change Authorization is navigation device, which analyzes the traffic
conditions on the chosen route and can recommend a detour to avoid traffic.
 The train is powered by lithium–titanate batteries.

 The railless system provides low construction and maintenance cost, because no
railway tracks
 The cost of the new train is around the fifth of the price of a traditional subway
system which usually costs around British Pound 45.6 to 79 million.
 Using quick charge batteries reduces the need for overhead cables.
 it is said to be non-polluting as it has no exhaust gases of internal combustion
engines
