group. Commencing their business since 1948, with timber merchandise, they have now grown into full
fledge diversified industrial Group manufacturing and selling building materials with net sales of more

6. A. Outsourcing Partnership Model:
Fixed Price Model
Our fixed time, fixed price model offers customers a low-risk option and can be employed
when the scope and specifications of the project are reasonably clear. This model guarantees
on-time, on-budget delivery of projects. Deliverables, Costs and Timelines are clearly defined
in the Fixed Time/Fixed Price model. In fixed time, fixed-price engagements. This model
works best for - Customers with well-defined requirements and project schedules. Under this
option, the customer pays a pre-negotiated fixed price for the complete project, which in turn
is linked to well-defined deliverables. For any change in scope, a predefined fixed hourly rate
agreed at the initial stage of start of project is paid. For any changes there is a standard
change request procedure that is followed for which we have structured processes in place.

Time and Material Model
When scope, specification and implementation plans of a software development project are
not easy to define at the outset, Time & Material Model becomes an attractive option. Under
this model, you pay as per use of the hourly development efforts. Under this model we define
the business model and work hand in hand with our client for execution of end-to-end project.
At times once the scope is frozen the time and material project also gets converted to the
fixed price model. We have very strict project management and reporting practices whereby
task sheets are generated on a daily / weekly basis for each of the developer on the project.

Hybrid Model
Very often it becomes necessary to undertake a major portion of a project on a Fixed Price
basis and at the same time deploy resources on a Time and Materials Pricing basis. We call
this the hybrid model. Adopting such a model enables the client to maximize their budgets
without compromising any aspect of the project itself. Needless to mention, that this model
too can be Onsite, Offsite, Offshore or any combination of the same. This model is used when
client wishes to work on fixed price model and when the project scope is not detailed enough
to enable us to estimate the effort with accuracy. Based on the initial concept note we define a

7. SECURITY POLICY FOR DATA PROTECTION
Vilsoft takes comprehensive measure for IP protection at various levels.
Human Level
 Employees are made aware about the Intellectual Properties & its protection rights. They are
trained & motivated to take special care about customer data, various intellectual asset (code/data
files/confidential information) that has been provided by customer.
 Our HR department is always in contact with all the employees for transparent work culture.
 A full confidentiality agreement company signed by all Vilsoft employees
Desktop Level
 The entire desktop / machines are allowed to be used by authorized person only. We have
disconnected all the removable media like CD or DVD writers, USB ports. The entire machines
are protected through antivirus. All the development machines are connected to central repository
server to copy all the development data as well as any other information. On development
machine user can not save or copy any data from outside media as well as cannot create any such
files or data on local machines. All these files &data can be created and stored on the central
repository system (CRS).
Server Level
 All the servers (File Server, Data Server, Mail Server) are locked down and hardered. They are
patched regularly. All the port, external devices, USB ports are accessed by System Administrator
only. All the data, files is stored on our self developed repository system, physical copy such
information is not possible through CD / DVD / USP Drive or any external device. All these
information is transferred through authorized access via our own developed Repository System.
Network Level
 Servers facing internet are hardened. These servers are protected through firewalls. Internet
hosting servers are kept isolated from development network. Regular audit of servers, networks
& desktop increases the security level to reasonable state.
Reflex-Repos
 Vilsoft has developed a repository management system for its own use to protect these entire
intellectual assets (code/data files/confidential information). Reflex-Repos is deployed on central
server. The server is locked and hardened through proper security measures. All the developers
and offices are working on this system. This system allows authorized developer / Officer to
make use of these codes, files for their specific use. The system is developed in such a way that
we can map development workflow for a project in a system through which we can monitor all
the activities of the project & access of information. By use of this system Vilsoft has stopped
using physical drives on local machines.
Firewalls form the final layer of exit for all data exiting the building
Any outgoing e-mail attachment size will be restricted to 1% of the size of the source code to avoid
electronic source code transfers
Security software will be installed on PC’s to avoid copy software to disks / CD’s
Laptop computer serial numbers are recorded upon entry and exit
