A course is the basic learning area on Growdly where a teacher displays materials for their students.
A user can be enrolled in different numbers of courses. If you navigate to My Home you will easily see which courses you have access to.
A category is a group of things and has several meanings in Growdly. It can be a grouping of courses by a certain criteria (Such as: M4 CHURCH PLANTING; PINGST LEDARUTVECKLING; Community Area). It can be a group of questions, or a group of entries in a glossary.
If you are an organization or church you would usually have the main category, where you keep all the courses you command and your participants.
An activity is something that a student will do that interacts with other students and /or the teacher. Moodle has over a dozen activity types and tools that a teacher can use in a course.
Resources are items that a teacher can use to support learning, such as a file or a link. A standard Moodle comes with 6 resource types that can be added to a course.
