Purpose of using social media?
• Purpose : Business or Private ?
• I’m company employee.
  – I don’t think using for business.
  – Mainly using for private. But not
    only for personal communication.
• I consider that how to use social
  media efficiently for non
  business use.
When we use social media ?
• Non-business use ?
  – A celebration party.
  – Seminar, conference.
  – Volunteer
  – NPO, NGO
Key concept to use social media
• The more we give of anything, the more we
  shall get back.
  「まず与えよ、されば与えられん」


• Social media, like facebook, accelerate exchange
  of information, and personal connection.
Key concept to use social media
• Social media network is really “REAL WORLD”.
  – More severe judgment
  – Selected communication


• Information and personal connection gather
  around people who supply good information.
Key concept to use social media
• Information transmission power by social
  media, will strengthen the skills to compete
  in the international community.




• How show the difference which compared
  with similar skill holder.
Key concept to use social media
• A person is one of gears of society.
• It means, if you rotate by yourself, you can
  drive society.
• It is same concept when you do your activity,
  for business, private, volunteer, plan an event,
  etc…
What’s ココハナ project
• Member
  – Volunteer members who graduated LPIE and their
    friends have started at 3/21.
What’s ココハナ project
• Purpose
  – To relieve children's stress, sending flower pods
    for their school entrance ceremony.
  – To become trigger of revival, purchasing flower
    pods from flower producer at disaster area.

• Activity
  – 3/21 : Facebook group start.
  – 3/26 : Web site (http://koko-hana.com) start.
  – 3/29 : Contact schools and confirm their intention.
  – 3/31 : Find flower producer at disaster area.
  – 4/1 : Calling for donations start. (¥166,500 [6/11現在])
  – 4/6 : Deliver flower pods for 2 elementary schools and
    1 junior high school at Iioka area
    in Chiba prefecture.
  – 5/19 : Deliver flower pods for
    “佐原おかみさん会” .
How start up the project ?
• Quick discussion
  – Facebook group allows us to discuss efficiently.
     • Facebook group is asynchronous time tool. But it can be
       use as synchronous time communication tool.
     • Multi topics discussion carried out same time.
     • Notification function by e-mail.
How start up the project ?
• Quick discussion
  – Facebook group allows us to discuss efficiently.
     • We can call other acquaintance easily. And they can
       start to use facebook immediately facebook has simple
       interface and easy to write opinion like as short
       comment for weblog.

• Quick discussion
  – Facebook group allows us to discuss efficiently.
     • “Link” functions make us share information.
        – It could be ENTRANCE of other cloud tools.

     • “Like” button can be shown our opinion instantly, and it
       can use as majority voting.

       because documents never flow off from news feed.

       private matters, or for consensus building.

  – Dropbox

• Deep discussion
  – Facebook or other cloud tools are just “tool”.
     • As the result, we could discuss like “brainstorming”.
     • At first, we decided the concept of the project clearly.

  – Facebook or other cloud tools are just “tool”.
     • Clear concept and strong belief, showed what do we
       do.
     • All member worked autonomously, and did what we
       can do.
Conclusion
• Using social media itself never be a solution.
• Social media, like facebook, just accelerate
  your process to achieve your purpose.

• Clear concept & Strong beliefs,
