Personal statement
A conscientious and motivated individual with over 15 years’ experience in positions requiring excellent
communication and attention to detail. I am currently employed at BlackRock Investment Management, where the
ability to multitask and produce high standards of work in a demanding, fast paced environment is essential. Along
with building strong relationships with multiple stakeholders and working effectively as part of a team, I am also able to
take initiative and prioritise my own workload in order to meet departmental demands.
My current role is a permanent position with a 4 week notice period however, ideally I am now looking for a
temporary/contract role within a similar industry.

CASS:
Maintain CASS related policies and procedures within the department
Ensure daily operation procedures and processes are in line with CASS regulations
Involvement in implementing solutions to address CASS regulatory requirements
Rectify any OD position at custody and report any breaches to Risk and CASS regulatory teams
Liaise with internal departments to ensure IMAs/client contracts provide payment authority in line with CASS
rules and provide feedback/sign off where necessary
Team Support:
Provide training and assess competence of all new team members towards their becoming fully competent in
the role
Recruitment/attending interviews for team members and assist with staff selection
Ensure team members communicate clearly and respond promptly to enquiries from direct clients, custodians
and key stakeholders including client business, Operations and other internal departments.
Support the development of the team
Payments:
Instructing settlement of outstanding fees via client custody accounts/portfolios
Instructing rebates to external client/trustee bank accounts
Instructing the disinvestment and reinvestment of client money/buy and sell of units
Ensuring transactions are settled at custody and accurately reflected on internal systems
Liaising with Portfolio Managers to ensure trades are placed in accordance with mandate requirements
Payment/client custody reconciliation

Review and sign off on client IMA’s and payment authority in relation to client money
Allocating client and internal queries within the team
Ensuring client contacts, fund details and payment authority are up to date and engaging relevant teams to
amend accordingly
Support and participate in projects and ad-hoc tasks regarding aged debt, unapplied cash and CASS
Producing weekly aged debt ledgers
