The industrial revolution in the 20th century and advances in robotics have completely changed the manufacturing and customer support sector. Previous economic revolutions gave us the tools to make, buy, move and sell produced goods. Tech now removes time, location and scale as factors. Industry started from pre-industrial revolution factories using only human labor. This moved on to post-industrial revolution factories using basic machinery, which advanced to pre-robotics car factories and then modern car factories. Then came the leap to call centers, and finally to today’s stage, highly interactive help desk solution.
