This document describes a study that developed a model for selecting vertical electrical sounding (VES) sites to analyze groundwater in Turkana County, Kenya. The study involved: 1) Analyzing topography and geology data through processes like NDVI and reclassification to determine areas suitable for groundwater storage. 2) Overlaying the suitable geology and topography rasters using weighted analysis to create a suitability map for VES sites. 3) Selecting VES sites based on the suitability map and conducting VES analysis, which identified 120 sites with groundwater potential. 4) Concluding the suitability model can help guide future groundwater exploration but could be improved by incorporating additional factors like fracturing
