Venice is a city in northeast Italy known for its canals, architecture, and art. It has a population of around 270,000 people and is comprised of 118 small islands separated by canals and linked by bridges. The Grand Canal divides the city into two parts and is the main street.  Is in the northwest part
of Venice and here lives

 The season with more tourists is from April to
October,especially in the months of July and August.

 Carnival and Christmas are also periods with many
tourists.
 But the best time of the year to avoid the crowds and
enjoy Venice are the weeks before Easter.
