This document summarizes work performed on a software and hardware project. It implemented speech recognition using an Easy VR module to control hardware with Arduino Uno and ULN 2803. The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board that can be programmed with the Arduino software and contains everything needed to support the microcontroller. Easy VR is a speech recognition module that can be trained to recognize commands in any language. ULN 2803 contains eight transistors that can interface low logic circuits to drive loads like lamps or relays. The tasks achieved included software simulation, coding, and hardware implementation of the speech recognition system.

7. Arduino Uno:
The Arduino Uno is a microcontroller board based on the
ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6
can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a USB
connection, a power jack and a reset button. It contains
everything needed to support the microcontroller; simply
connect it to a computer with a USB cable or power it with
a AC-to-DC adapter or battery to get started.
The Arduino Uno can be programmed with the Arduino
software.

8. Easy VR:
 It is a “SPEECH RECOGNITION MODULE.”
 Just like using built-in libraries in MATLab EasyVR
 has built-in libraries which after tweaking, re-training and
modifying;
 we can use commands in any language.

9. ULN 2803:
The eight NPN Darlington connected transistors in this family
of arrays are ideally suited for interfacing between low logic
level digital circuitry (such as TTL, CMOS or PMOS/NMOS) and
the higher current/voltage requirements of lamps, relays,
printer hammers or other similar loads for a broad range of
computer, industrial, and consumer applications. All devices
feature open–collector outputs and free wheeling clamp diodes
for transient suppression.
