This document provides a summary of 10 important principles of Vaastu (Hindu system of architecture) that are believed to bring good luck and prosperity when followed. The principles include positioning the bed so the head points in certain directions, placing the kitchen in the east, having more windows facing east and north than west and south, leaving more open space in the east and north of a house, and positioning other rooms like the pooja (prayer) room and bedrooms in specific areas. Following these Vaastu principles is believed to create positive energy flow in the home.
“Identity Crisis” will help to restore your identity in Christ if it has been stolen by the enemy and the tragedies of this world. It will bring clarity and revelation into what it truly means to be a child of God so that you can begin to awaken your purpose, walk into the fullness of your calling, and claim your inheritance as a child of Christ Jesus.
“We cannot reach the perfection of Christ until the sheep can expose themselves to each one of the five fold. You can’t be perfected by yourself. Perfection is not reached alone, you get into trouble by yourself.”

20090524 Quotable Quotes And Comments To Tune Your Mind to Becoming Better ...viswanadham vangapally
It is said that we are our thoughts. Thoughts are stored in our mind. Whatever we do, we have to do it with our mind – fully tuned. Otherwise, whatever we are doing will not be observed, received, heard, remembered, and recollected to apply, experience and expand. Thus, tuning our mind, to the task on hand, is the most important first thing we must concentrate. Without tuning our mind, we cannot hope to get the best results.
This presentation, titled Quotable Quotes and Comments to tune your MIND to becoming better, must be considered as a companion presentation to the one titled as Becoming Better.
This coming Sunday, the 24th instant, I am invited as the Chief Speaker for the 107th meeting [ on Personality Development ], being organized by Shiridi Sai Baba Sansthan, Shivam Road, Vidyanagar, Hyderabad. I will be using this “Quotable quotes …”
for the first time, along with the main presentation titled Becoming Better. I request you to view both the presentations, as it would help in tuning your mind.
INTRODUCING MY 'BEHIND THE SCENES' BOOK
This book is an inspiration that came to me years ago, one Saturday evening while seated at Huruma Grounds in Eldoret. I had countless hard questions in my mind about life, because of many years of living in reproach, suffering, and lack, being despised, molested and stuck in the league of the less fortunate. I had a deep desire to break this yoke and change the trend, so that I could live fruitful life as I pursue my purpose. Instead, I found myself going round and round in Eldoret town from morning to evening meditating and asking myself dozens of questions. Why am I always a victim of circumstances? Occasionally walking from disaster to catastrophe, crawling from a trench into a pit, wading from stormy seas to shark attack. Whenever something good occurred two bad things would miraculously follow.
I have been wondering, why bad things happen to good people and why sometimes life seems to be very brutal and unfair to others. It is through many inquisitive days and hours without getting answers, that I came to the conclusion that; “God is working behind the scenes in my favour.”
This is the genesis of the title of this book. Since that time I have been recording my life’s experiences. By the grace of God, His invisible hand lifted and shifted me from a street boy to dining table with Kings. He mercifully lifted me from being the dullest pupil in class to a Pure Economics university graduate. I can’t believe it to date. He changed me from a stammerer to a motivational speaker, coach and instructor of thousands. He plucked me from a hawker selling stolen onions on the streets to owning group of companies. He elevated me from the level of handling coins to millions, and sure enough from grace to glory.
This is a collection of thrills, episodes and incidents that will make you realize that God can change your situation in a mighty way that will perplex you. You could be a widow, single mother, disabled, having a chronic illness, taken years without getting a marriage partner or you have tried everything but it failed. You might be at the point of giving up. Just know that like the snake of bronze, God will lift up and restore you as a testimony to others going through similar situations. You will be God's 'FOR EXAMPLE' and Epistle. When they look at you they will be encouraged and healed.
Whatever you are going through is not a surprise to God. You are work in progress and God is working at the background fixing your case and setting your stage
I wrote this book to unfold this misery and will take you through scenes, events, case studies, thrilling and real life testimonies with virtues that will help you appreciate and understand the workings of God. The book will give you insights and a picture of how God works behind the scenes.

10 Ways to Overcome Our Daily Struggles, A Guide For Christian WomenBrenda Silveira
Life is hard and many of us focus on our problems instead of trying to find solutions. Women especially struggle because the world puts high expectations on us and tries to make us believe the lie that we aren't good enough and our problems define who we are. When we put our focus on God and allow Him to help us, we can overcome our struggles and find peace despite our circumstances.
Creativity may be thought to be about great inventions yet in a world that is ever changing the best of invention is being able to communicate knowledge in a format that not only inspire but tell the story behind what make each day worth living. These are not the stories of just one, they are your stories ..the reason you wake each morning and wish for another day.
Facing The Truth
-------------------
The Truth…What is the Truth of our being: Of our
existence?
It is a question that floats in the minds of every single
human being on the face of earth. It is a quest to unveil the
truth and the facts behind our existence, but in the course of
this journey other questions inevitably arise:
* Why are we here?
* What is our purpose?
* Where did we come from?
* Where are we going?
* What is beyond life?
* Why did God create us?
These questions float in the minds of every single human
being on the face of earth at one time or another, including
you; trying to unravel the truth and the facts behind our
existence.
Now my question to you is: Have you found the answers
to these questions?
If you have not, then allow me to tell you the answer as
succinctly as I can:
INTRODUCING MY 'OVERCOMING ALL ODDS' BOOK
Anyone who has ever become anything worth writing home about has had to handle fire and brimstone with naked hands, boldly face all obstacles and adversities with courage and determination to score handful of victories. One of the most horrible feelings is being unfit and looking bulky. Shedding dozen kilograms, lowering the cholesterol levels and reducing the BMI is serious work. You have to endure regular and disciplined exercise, embrace new lifestyles and moment of ridicule before you get that appealing body shape that is fit and admired by many. Just as we develop our physical muscles through overcoming opposition - such as lifting weights and regular exercise - we develop our character muscles by overcoming challenges and adversity. These odds are very instrumental in shaping our character and personality in pursuit of our destiny. Some of them leave scars, causes loss and paint a groom picture of a hopeless destiny but faced with a positive attitude they become a story of victory and a purpose full life. You shouldn't give up. Fight for yourself and who you are. You've got to go through the worst times in life to get the best. You’ve got to look at challenges with a victor’s mentality. Purpose that the adversity will not leave you bitter but better. The fire will not consume you but refine you to a pure and precious jewel.
I have been a member for many years of a Committee known as the Nairobi Security group which comprises of a team of experts from Police, Fire Brigade, UN security Council, National Disaster Management Unit, National Disaster Operation Center, Ambulance companies among other safety and security agencies and when sharing with the experts who you might think are enjoying every bit of their living you realize that they all have a fair share of tribulations that they go through. This includes even the Governors, Cabinet Secretaries, Bishops and even the Presidents. Living in the State House or riding a personal jet doesn’t guarantee you immunity to pain and loss. Even the accomplished suffer setbacks sometimes. The more bitter the lessons, the greater the successes will be. Although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of overcomers. You have to Trace it! Face it! Overcome it!
In my past writings more so in my Book Behind the Scenes, I have shared many case studies on how I had to overcome odds in life to later realize that there was a glorious outcome ahead. My life as a school dropout and street boy was a preparation moment for me to receive the spirit of humanity and service to mankind which today is a value that I live for. To be frustrated by my employers and supervisors was a catalyst for me to quit employment and establish the now Busara Investment Group which has created opportunities for many and impacted lives. Every single thing that has ever happened in your life is preparing you for a moment that is yet to come.

The Book of Joshua is the sixth book in the Hebrew Bible and the Old Testament, and is the first book of the Deuteronomistic history, the story of Israel from the conquest of Canaan to the Babylonian exile.
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

1. 10 important dos of Vaastu
Here are the most important dos of Vaastu that when adhered to will surely bring in
good luck and prosperity!
1.Make sure the plot used to build a house is square, rectangular, circle or oval
shaped.
2.Place the bed in such a way that your head points in any direction, except north.
3.Let your kitchen face east. Simple commonsense shows that this means more light
and brightness.
4.Have more number of windows facing East and North than those facing West and
South.
5.Again, leave more open space (if it is an independent house with a compound wall)
in the East and North.
6.Place your kitchen in the South-east and the bed room to the West or South West.
7.Place your pooja room to the North-east
8.Have your water (pipelines) flow from South to North or from West to East.
2. 9.Place your safe or cash box in the North.
10.Let your children have their bedrooms in the North and East zones of your
house.
The road to success is not straight.
There is a curve called Failure,
A loop called Confusion,
Speed bumps called Friends,
Red lights called Enemies,
Caution lights called Family.
You will have flats called Jobs.
But, if you have a spare called Determination,
An engine called Perseverance,
Insurance called Faith,
A driver called God,
You will make it to a place called Success.
Ten things God won't ask:
1...God won't ask what kind of car you drove;
He'll ask how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
2...God won't ask the square footage of your house,
He'll ask how many people you welcomed into your home.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3...God won't ask about the clothes you had in your closet,
He'll ask how many you helped to clothe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
4...God won't ask what your highest salary was,
He'll ask if you compromised your character to obtain it.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
5...God won't ask what your job title was,
He'll ask if you performed your job to the best of your ability.
3. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
6...God won't ask how many friends you had,
He'll ask how many people to whom you were a friend.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
7...God won't ask in what neighborhood you lived,
He'll ask how you treated your neighbors.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8...God won't ask about the color of your skin,
He'll ask about the content of your character.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
9...God won't ask why it took you so long to seek Salvation,
He'll lovingly take you to your mansion in heaven, and not to the
gates of Hell.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
10...God won't ask how many people did you share with this,
He'll ask if you were ashamed to share it with your friends.
Read Carefully
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
Three things of life once gone never comes back : Time, words & opportunity
Three things of life must not be lost : Peace, hope & honesty.
Three things of life are most valuable : Love, self-confidence & friends.
Three things of life are never sure : Dreams, success & fortune.
Three things make a person : Hard work, sincerity & success.
Three things of life that destroy a person : Wine, pride & anger.
4. Give me a new idea, I said,
While musing on a sleepless bed;
A new idea that'll bring to earth
A balm for souls of priceless worth;
That'll give men thoughts of things above,
And teach them how to serve and love,
That'll banish every selfish thought,
And rid men of the sins they've fought.
The new thought came, just houw, I'll tell;
'Twas when on bended knee I fell,
And sought from HIM who knows full well
The way our sorrow to expel.
SEE GOD IN ALL THINGS, great and small,
And give HIM praise whate'er befall,
In life or death, in pain or woe,
See God, and overcome they foe.
I saw HIM in the morning light,
HE made the day shine clear and bright;
I saw HIM in the noontide hour,
And gained from HIM refreshing shower,.
At eventide, when worn and sad,
HE gave me help, and made me glad.
At midnight, when on tossing bed
My weary soul to sleep HE led.
I saw HIM when great losses came,
And found HE loved me just the same.
When heavy loads I had to bear.
I found HE lightened every care.
By sickness, sorrow, sore distress,
HE calmed my mind and gave me rest/
HE's filled my heart with gladsome praise
Since I gave HIM the upward gaze.
'Twas new to me, yet old to some,
This thought that to me has become
A revelation of the way
We all should live throughout the day;
For as each day unfolds its light,
We'll walk by faith and not by sight.
Life will, indeed, a blessing bring,
If we SEE GOD IN EVERYTHING.
God: Hello. Did you call me?
5. Me: Called you? No.. who is this?
God: This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.
Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of
something..
God: What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.
Me: Don't know. But I cant find free time. Life has become hectic. It's rush hour all the
time.
God: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes
time. Productivity frees it.
Me: I understand. But I still cant figure it out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to
buzz me on instant messaging chat.
God: Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net
era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.
Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?
God: Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.
Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?
God: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying
because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That's why you are not
happy.
Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?
God: Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.
Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty..
God: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?
God: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire.
Good people go through trials, but don't suffer. With that experience their life becomes
better not bitter.
Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?
6. God: Yes. In every terms, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the
lessons afterwards.
Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can't we be free from
problems?
God: Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance
Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are
free from problems.
Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don't know where we are heading..
God: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking
outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides
insight.
Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right
direction. What should I do?
God: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by
you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work
with the compass. Let others work with the clock.
Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
God: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always
count your blessing, not what you are missing.
Me: What surprises you about people?
God: when they suffer they ask, "why me?" When they prosper, they never ask "Why
me". Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the
truth.
Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I can't get the answer.
God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking
for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a
process of creation.
Me: How can I get the best out of life?
God: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the
future without fear.
7. Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
God: There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.
Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the New Day with a new
sense of inspiration.
God: Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don't believe your doubts and doubt your
beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if
you know how to live.
Stay positive and always keep smiling!!
Yoga and Kundalini
In the Hindu tradition, kundalini is spiritual energy presumed to reside at the base of the
spine. When it is awakened by practices such as yoga, it rises like a serpent up the spine,
and opens the chakras' psychic centers situated along the spine from the tailbone to the
top of the head.
As each chakra opens, new levels of consciousness are revealed. Since the consciousness
of most people is fairly restricted, the opening of the chakras is accompanied by
consciousness expansion and purification of the limitations or impurities that correspond
to each chakra.
(Brant Cortright, PhD, Psychotherapy and Spirit, p. 161)
As kundalini rises, it is associated with physical symptoms including:
sensations of heat
tremors
involuntary laughing or crying
talking in tongues
nausea, diarrhea or constipation
rigidity or limpness
animal-like movements and sounds
Kundalini arousal most commonly occurs as an unintentional side-effect of yoga,
meditation, qi gong. or other intensive spiritual practices. Some theorists consider
psychotherapy, giving birth, unrequited love, celibacy, deep sorrow, high fever, and drug
intoxication to be triggers. Some believe kundalini awakening can occur spontaneously
without apparent cause
MIRROR-IMAGE MEDITATION (REFLECTIVE)
The austere practice of mental concentration against one’s own reflection in a mirror is a
kind of meditation known as the Mirror-Image Meditation (Reflective Meditation) or
Mirror-Image Penance described as Kannadi Thavam in Tamil.
The Mirror-Image Meditation is the supreme form of meditation, which enables the
person meditating to generate within himself an enormous amount of magnetic power.
8. The entire dimension of an object will become deeply etched in the mind if one focuses
in his vision and though in rapt concentration upon that particular object. This indeed will
be tantamount to sheer exhaustion of human power. On the other hand, if the mental
concentration is wholly focused on the Supreme Being, namely God, the electro-
magnetic power will eventually become pre-focused and will be imprinted as divine-
magnetic power in one’s mind.
During the stern process of Mirror-Image Meditation, one’s prowess and vigor will
become registered in the image reflected in the mirror in front of which one carries out
such solemn exercise. Thus the prowess and vigor in turn get permeated easily in due
course throughout the body.
Although there are many facets of Mirror Meditation, it infact is a simple but a stern
discipline. It is especially appropriate for those in the elementary stage of practice. It is
precisely a matter of just twelve minutes systematic exercise
Mode of Practice
Stand firmly five feet away from the mirror and focus your vision on your full physical
image for two minutes in absolute concentration. Then trap your eyes closed with your
hands for two minutes. Fill mentally within yourself, your entire physical image, which
you had been perceiving earlier in the mirror. You have to do this repeatedly thrice. This
is how Reflective or Mirror Meditation is to be practiced.
Symptom
When you are engrossed in this kind of austere practice, you will find a hazy image as
though it is covered with or concealed in foamy cotton. It is highly appropriate to
visualize physical image in the mirror presuming as though it is either that one’s own
Guru or that of the Supreme Being.
