This is what the in-house factory Metaphora is in charge of, ensuring an integrated and all-phase “horizontal” approach for each project: strategic analysis, planning, creative development, content management, realization and executive on-field production, customer relationships...
The various companies and departments within the Group each have their own specialization: consulting and advertising activities, below the line, events, promotions, incentives,
graphic & web design, PR and media relations, recruiting service, specialized staff training and management.
We’ve moved on greatly since 2001, along with
many partners and clients. Every client had a project, its own project, and every time we took one step forward, thus growing. This has also led us to achieving rewards:
to present date, we won 60 international and national awards, including 2 awards as Best Event Agency in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, we were awarded with two best event first prizes for Ina Assitalia and Peroni.
Today, we are everything we did throughout 12 years of work in the fields of marketing and communication. Alphaomega group, along with the factory firm Metaphora, is composed of different companies that conduct their activities in an integrated manner in all fields: from strategic consulting, advertising, event management, above and below the line, on-field promotions to sports marketing. Alphaomega Sport and Alphaomega Art supervise specific areas. Alphaomega Group currently has 60 employees and its offices are based in Rome and Milan.

It all starts with a story: brand e strategie narrative per comunicare l'offe...Gabriele Qualizza
OnlyOne is a key to accessing this threshold of uniqueness, embracing the themes of art and lifestyle design, with the common characteristic of one-off or limited series productions.

disegno, l’eccellenza artigianale orafa. Una ricerca che ha sempre
sostenuto e tuttora sostiene la Maison. Tradizione da Van Cleef &
Arpels è sinonimo di ricerca d’eccellenza.
CEO FOR EUROPE OF THE PRESTIGIOUS HOUSE OF FINE JEWELLERY
and timepieces, Van Cleef & Arpels, Marie Girardot has been with
the Richemont group since the beginning of her career, which
began some twenty years ago at Cartier. As a lover of music, art and
literature, Marie Girardot embodies French refinement. Her role
requires constant geographical mobility and a pragmatism that she
carries out with passion in support of the famous phrase of Jacques
Arpels, which became the motto of the House, “Our mission is to
offer the best.”
The House of Van Cleef celebrated a 100 years last year,
how can we not connect it to its history and what are at
the roots that have lasted over time?
Since its inception, the main characteristic of the House of Van
Cleef has been the constant quest for excellence, excellence in design
and excellence in goldsmith’s craft. The quest for excellence is what
has always supported and still supports the House. Tradition, for Van
Cleef & Arpels, is synonymous with the search for excellence.

This excellence is also found when we look at the women
who have chosen to wear Van Cleef; princesses from both
the East and the West, figures of emblematic women who,
from the past until today, have been the true icons of the
House of Van Cleef, symbolizing this desire for a perfectly
constructed aesthetic aspect.
How can this creativity be developed into modernity?
The creative journey finds its direction in the following way: there
are lines of development that are brought together by our director of
marketing and development, Mr. Nicolas Bos, a young man of great
culture, aesthetics in particular.
He is a fine connoisseur of contemporary art and this is an important
point since he has an aesthetic sensibility that is completely tuned
in to the twenty-first century.
This is an interesting aspect to be stressed and one that is unexpected
in a 100-year-old House as “respectable” as ours.
This aesthetical direction, this creative approach and this openness
towards contemporary creation, make it possible to sketch out
creative lines of research that, once approved by our President,
Mr. de Quercize, arrive in the graphics department; this is under
the dynamism of a young artistic director surrounded by a team of
creative artists who work exclusively for us in a graphics studio that
is an integral part of our House and made up of people from every
cultural and national background.
This allows a sort of kaleidoscope of contemporary creation; young
people with different types of art-school training with diverse
cultural and geographical origins, all completely connected to the
roots of the House, its DNA and its history.
Exactly what defines the DNA of the House? For example,
how important are the stones?
I’ll go back to the start of our conversation reiterating that our leit
motiv is the search for excellence.
This mission guides us in everything that is part of the creative
process within the House. This is not just to create jewellery for our
customers, but also to seek out the best stones to express aesthetic

A quali nuovi mercati vi adatterete, in futuro? Cina e
Russia?
Oriente, come potete assecondarli? Ci sono diverse vene
creative affinché tutti possano acquistare secondo il
proprio gusto?
mondo?
Ad oggi possediamo 67 negozi, abbiamo appena aperto l’ultimo a
Macao e prima ancora a Osaka, in Giappone, e a Cannes, in Francia.
Verri 10. Abbiamo aperto a Londra, in Bond Street, solamente tre
anni fa.
inspiration, the best shops to offer us their shop windows, the most
beautiful materials, the best designs, the best production in our
workshops at the hand of jewellery craftsmen who posses, control
and develop the best goldsmith craftsmanship.
What new markets will you be adapting to in the future?
China and Russia?
Certainly we have customers in these markets, but we have no need
to adapt to the market.
Taste differs between Japan, Russia and the Middle East, so
how is it possible to meet their needs? Are there different
creative veins so that everyone can buy according to their
own taste?
Indeed if you address countries that have different cultures and
histories, or even perhaps particular tastes in colour, the customers
may have diverse preferences.
When they turn to a name that is European and that perfectly
embodies French genius, the customers is looking for something
that they will not find at their local jewellers. That is usually why
they come to us.
It is the brand that takes many of the necessary steps toward this
clientele and customers are naturally attracted to that brand. Success
derives from the crossing of these two pathways.
That’s why I couldn’t immediately accept the expression “adapt to
a market,” we do not adapt to a market, we go towards a market, we
listen to what clients in this market tell us and it is there we begin
the beauty of our creations.
How many Van Cleef & Arpels boutiques there are around
the world?
To date we have 67 shops, we have just opened the latest in Macao.
Just before that we opened in Osaka, Japan and Cannes in France.
What are the next challenges in the future of the House?
On what developments are you going to concentrate?
The most interesting aspect of the House today is the fact that it is
certainly historic, but supported by a development dynamic that it
is as if we had created the brand just ten years ago.
It is very interesting to work in a company where history, culture
and the past are so rich, but even more it is a company that is still
young and concerned with conquering new territories and new
clients.
These new clients are both people who want fine jewellery and
countries that are getting to know a European brand for the first
time.
The world is immense, sometimes distant, and sometimes very
close. I’ll give you an example of this: Van Cleef & Arpels is not
present in Italy, a country on our doorstep, while we are present in
countries that are on the other side of the world.
We are opening the Italian market with a large boutique on two
floors in Milan to be launched in January 2009 at 10 Via Verri. We
opened in London, in Bond Street, only three years ago.
We can imagine that all these decisions are part of a well-
orchestrated strategy.
A precise strategy that consists of meeting up with clients of fine
jewellery and timepiece wherever they may be. +
