This document provides 20 lessons learnt from running a software product business that has over 600 customers in 30+ countries over 5 years. It discusses lessons around targeting the right markets and keeping departments aligned, developing products that compete on value rather than chasing features, pricing strategies like starting high and cutting prices, and messaging to different customer types. It also outlines lessons around creating a new category that requires patience, partnering with complementary products, monitoring the customer value stream, and addressing challenges of the Indian market having fewer early adopters.
Session that I presented in product camp about the things that helped us in successful agile transformation which helped us ship software every week to customers and get feedback when compared to 12-18 months release cycle before.
Our company serves global industrial markets. Our value proposition is to provide superior customer service and technical support, developing long-term partnerships with customers. This value proposition will drive organizational alignment around developing deep expertise in key industries and technologies, as well as providing personalized customer service that builds strong relationships over time.

The document discusses body image and eating disorders. It notes that 10% of the population suffers from an eating disorder, primarily affecting adolescent and young women. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness, with 18-20% of anorexics dying within 20 years and only 30-40% fully recovering. The document encourages women not to starve themselves due to media images, and advocates for confidence in one's natural appearance rather than feeling pressure to lose weight.

The document is a research report on the state of e-commerce in India from September 2012. It finds that internet usage in India has reached 10% penetration with over 124 million online users as of July 2012. E-commerce is growing rapidly, with travel sites reaching 44% of users and retail sites reaching 60%. Travel and retail are growing faster than other categories in India. The report provides statistics and trends on online demographics, transactions, and top travel and retail sites.

The document summarizes key-aggregate cryptosystem (KAC), which allows efficient and flexible sharing of encrypted
data in cloud storage. KAC encrypts data under a public key and ciphertext class. The key owner can generate an
aggregate decryption key that decrypts any ciphertext whose class is contained in the key, while keeping a constant size.
This compact aggregate key can be shared to delegate decryption rights for a set of ciphertexts, without sharing individual
keys. KAC schemes aim to achieve constant-size ciphertexts, public keys, master secrets and aggregate keys to enable
flexible and efficient data sharing in cloud storage.

This document discusses moving from an idea to building a minimum viable product (MVP). It notes that at the idea stage, uncertainty is high but the cost of changes is low. Methodologies like design thinking and sprint processes are recommended to iteratively test hypotheses with users through activities like interviews, prototyping, and testing to help validate the idea and prioritize features before developing an MVP. The goal is to use a fast, cheap iterative process to de-risk the idea and better understand user needs and the solution before committing significant resources to building the full product.

This includes deciding where the company's product fits relative to larger competitors, choosing the appropriate pricing and distribution models, and determining how to effectively promote the product and acquire customers.
3. Effective customer acquisition involves testing various promotion channels like social media, blogs, conferences and evaluating their cost effectiveness. The goal is to drive customers through the lifecycle from initial contact

From Concept to reality : Implementing Lean Managements DMAIC Methodology for...Rokibul Hasan
The Ready-Made Garments (RMG) industry in Bangladesh is a cornerstone of the economy, but increasing costs and stagnant productivity pose significant challenges to profitability. This study explores the implementation of Lean Management in the Sampling Section of RMG factories to enhance productivity. Drawing from a comprehensive literature review, theoretical framework, and action research methodology, the study identifies key areas for improvement and proposes solutions.
Through the DMAIC approach (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), the research identifies low productivity as the primary problem in the Sampling Section, with a PPH (Productivity per head) of only 4.0. Using Lean Management techniques such as 5S, Standardized work, PDCA/Kaizen, KANBAN, and Quick Changeover, the study addresses issues such as pre and post Quick Changeover (QCO) time, improper line balancing, and sudden plan changes.
The research employs regression analysis to test hypotheses, revealing a significant correlation between reducing QCO time and increasing productivity. With a regression equation of Y = -0.000501X + 6.72 and an R-squared value of 0.98, the study demonstrates a strong relationship between the independent variables (QCO downtime and improper line balancing downtime) and the dependent variable (productivity per head).
The findings suggest that by implementing Lean Management practices and addressing key productivity inhibitors, RMG factories can achieve substantial improvements in efficiency and profitability. The study provides valuable insights for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers seeking to enhance productivity in the RMG industry and similar manufacturing sectors.

Impact of Effective Performance Appraisal Systems on Employee Motivation and ...Dr. Nazrul Islam
Healthy economic development requires properly managing the banking industry of any
country. Along with state-owned banks, private banks play a critical role in the country's economy.
Managers in all types of banks now confront the same challenge: how to get the utmost output from
their employees. Therefore, Performance appraisal appears to be inevitable since it set the
standard for comparing actual performance to established objectives and recommending practical
solutions that help the organization achieve sustainable growth. Therefore, the purpose of this
research is to determine the effect of performance appraisal on employee motivation and retention.

Is Agile dead? It depends on what you mean by 'Agile'. If you mean that the organizations are not getting the promised benefits because they were focusing too much on the team-level agile "ways of working" instead of systemic global improvements -- then we are in agreement. It is a misunderstanding of Agility that led us down a dead-end. At Org Topologies, we see bright sparks -- the signs of the 'second wave of Agile' as we call it. The emphasis is shifting towards both in-team and inter-team collaboration. Away from false dichotomies. Both: team autonomy and shared broad product ownership are required to sustain true result-oriented organizational agility. Org Topologies is a package offering a visual language plus thinking tools required to communicate org development direction and can be used to help design and then sustain org change aiming at higher organizational archetypes.

● Evaluate branding (art, title,

● Clarify target audience.
● Prioritize features
Result: the PROMISE.
10. Feature Priorities
List all the features in the game and attribute an
objective priority category:
1. Essential: Simplest fulfillment of Promise
2. Necessary: Required to launch
3. Obvious: Solves perceivable symptoms in Promise
4. Unobvious: Directly improves Promise
5. Accessory: Improves, but unrelated to Promise
11. Priorities & Risk Tolerance
Does the risk level exceed the priority level?
1. Essential: Very High (“else: retry”)
2. Necessary: High (“else: purchase”)
3. Obvious:Medium (“else: safe”)
4. Unobvious: Low (“else: skip”)
5. Accessory: None (no “else”)

Question from a team member?
Feedback to give on a task?
● Ask them to estimate the priority.
● Ask them to evaluate the risk.
● Ask additional questions to help them find
the right combination.
● Ask them what they would do knowing that.
