This time five years ago,Will Andrew was just an ordinary teenage boy with a
dream. We sat down with the man himself to ask him about his rapid rise to
stardom.
How are you coping with your rise from the bottom to the top that came so fast?
I’m coping quite well thanks, I was always expecting to have this lifestyle the
moment I signed my first professional contract if I’m honest. Its not such a bad
life, it’s the one I wanted for me and my family, were all doing much better now.
How was the buzz when you were sat at the desk, with the CEO of that company
and he slid over that contract to you?
Its hard to pinpoint what emotion I was thinking at the time, was pretty sure I
could hear my heartbeat, I remember just looking at the blank line that said
Client Signature and saying to myself “Here we go” After signing it I posed for the
photo and everything I felt on top of the world! Probably the best moment of my
life by far, and nothing will ever top it
...The Best Moment Of My Life So Far.
Tell us about about your humble beginnings then, don’t quote me on this but I’ve
heard that you were a education drop out was this right?
The way you word that sounds like I was a failure but actually I want, I was
pretty academic and could have had many qualifications to my name, I mean how
many rappers in the game have you heard who have 8 GCSE’s? I just felt like
education was something I was forced to do, I never wanted to do it. I always had
seen myself as a performer, an artist. Do what you enjoy and you’ll never have to
work a day in your life again. Never a writer or a doctor.
Do what you love and you’ll never have to work a day in your life again.
How was your mum when she heard the news you dropped out of college?
Oh she was fuming, absolutely fuming. I remember the many talks I had with her
about it and how disappointed she was. It took some time to get used to but
eventually it paid off. We’ve made amends now and all’s smoothed over and now
she’s living in a new house, away from the place she was back then. over and
now she’s living in a new house, away from the place she was back then.
Whats your next step after this right now?
Well right now I’ve just finished my first professional album with a recording
company. I got the whole superstar treatment!
I got the whole superstar treatment.
How was recording in a professional studio as opposed to a mic in your
bedroom?
It was amazing like I’ve been in one before but never for myself. Like the whole
scenario like me on my own with my crew all on the mixers was amazing like this
was all for me? I couldn’t believe it at all, ill never forget that first jam.

Whats the new album called?
Its called “Rags 2 Riche$” it basically speaks for itself like all the songs on it are a
reflection of my life, like my whole art is on the CD Then after that I’m doing
some tours and gigs around England in some pretty lowkey places so lets see
where that takes us from there.
