 To check Welders performance against Radiographic Examination Reports and
maintenance of the log of Welders / Welding Operators in accordance with ASME
Section IX and the Construction Code.
 Prepare Time sheet for work claim.
 Prepare Weld map for NDT verification.
 Test packs prepare and review of final submit for client.
 To qualify the Welders / Welding Operators in accordance with ASME Section IX and
the Construction Code.
 To re qualify the Welders / Welding Operators after expiration Period or new hiring etc.
 To issue the WPS to concerned person and display them in work area.
 Training of Welders and Welding Operators for qualification tests.

 Check the surface profile by using relevant gauge.
 Verify the DFT (Dry Film Thickness) by using DFT gauge.
 Verify the coating procedure and film thickness.
 QA/QC Format and other miscellaneous reports.
 Execute the holiday test inspections by using the Pin-Hole Detector.
 Verify the execution as well as drawing’s thickness of insulation.
 Visually check the in-coming materials as per their specified standards.
 Close out all the Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) and Quality Alerts (QA’s) within a
specified span of time.
