whether the respondents
thought animals have the
same concept of pain as
humans. This is useful to
show maybe why a vast
majority of respondents
thought animal testing was
not okay.
3. This scatter plot shows the
correlation between how
strongly people felt about
test vs the number of pets
they own at the moment of
the survey. A good bit of
surveyors that did not have
pets still felt strongly about
animal testing or fell in the
middle.
4. This histogram shows the
scale between 1-10 with 10
being that animal testing is
very necessary. Most
respondents responded that
it was not needed and
another vast majority fell in
the middle.
5. This bar graph represents
the number of medical
advances that the surveyors
believe to be true each year.
There are only about 150
major medical advances
each year. Being that this
graph is slightly right
skewed, most of the people
knew that not many medical
advances are made.
