1. CONSCENTIZATION PROGRAMME REPORT
As part of our B.Ed Curriculum, a conscientization programme was conducted in Govt.Model
Higher Secondary School Vettikkavala on 11 Jan 2024. The programme was held on the topic
" GLOBAL WARMING". I choose VIII : B for the Coscentization programme.
Raising awareness of global warming among students is essential for equipping them with the
knowledge, skills, and motivation to address one of the most pressing challenges of our time. By
educating and empowering students, we can cultivate a generation of environmentally
conscious leaders who are committed to creating a more sustainable future.
This programme was conducted through a presentation in power point. I gave an introduction
about Global warming and it's causes. Students were also contribute their view points. After that
I explained it's effects and remedies. Increasing awareness of global warming instills a sense of
environmental stewardship in students, encouraging them to care for the planet and its natural
resources.
On the whole the class was informative and students got a clear idea about the topic. Through
this programme students get awareness about the consequences of Global warming. The
programme provides confidence to students to talk freely about their opinions. I succeeded in
conveying the topic more effective way.
