The film Unsealed is a supernatural psychological thriller. The tagline is "The deal with the devil is the worst kind." The film explores themes of revenge and follows Jamie, an outsider girl who is humiliated at a party. She is later possessed by a voodoo man. Jamie's spirit warns her best friend Shantelle of the possession. To stop the voodoo man's spirit, Shantelle kills Jamie, believing it will end the possession but instead kills them both. The film takes inspiration from American Horror Story and applies Todorov's theory of the five stages of the fantastic genre.
Brain MRI biomarkers for improved follow up of people with Multiple Sclerosis...Wim Van Hecke
MRI is increasingly used for the diagnosis and follow-up of people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). However, there is a need for objective MRI biomarkers that can be used in clinical practice. This is now possible. By sending MRI data to a icometrix, reliable and objective reports of brain atrophy and lesion load can be obtained.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.
The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. Sub Genre and Tag Line
The subgenre for the film is Supernatural/Psychological and the tag line
is ‘The deal with the devil is the worst kind of deal’.
3. Themes
Revenge: Jamie wants revenge on the people at her school who never
bothered to get to know her or never wanted to be her friend. She
especially wants to get revenge on the most popular girl in her school
Louise. This is because the popular girl was everything that Jamie
wanted to be but no one ever accepted her as anything less than a
‘freak’. So when Louise invited Jamie to her party she jumped at the
chance of going. However Louise’s true intentions weren’t to be nice
and become friends with Jamie. Louise wanted to embarrass Jamie in
front of the whole year, she did this by getting her friends to throw
paint over Jamie when Jamie walked into the party.
4. Inspiration
The main inspiration is American Horror Story, created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk.
The contextual background of their series has been taken into consideration because they
are relatable all over the world. Unsealed was inspired by the storylines in American Horror
Story, they are psychologically challenging and the majority of them have very gruesome
endings. The way suspense is delivered through each episode makes the audience want to
go and watch the next episode and follow onto the next series. Since the show is a great
success I will take a lot of inspirations from it and hopefully create a successful horror
movie that will not only fulfil the codes and conventions but will be enjoyed by the target
audience.
5. Cast
• The Protagonist
Jamie – Her body is posses by voodoo man
• The Antagonist
The Voodoo man
• Other:

6. Costume and Props
Costume - The costume that will be used in the film includes modern attire to appeal
to the target audience and also as there will be teenagers in the film who will be
dressed in modern clothing. However the antagonist ‘the voodoo man’ will be dressed
in masculine/ old fashioned clothing. When Jamie (protagonist) wakes up she will be
dressed in a torn up hospital gown. This is to add emphasis of her state of mind, to
alert the audience she is unaware of her surrounds and perplexed.
Make Up – Jamie will have minimal make up before she becomes possessed but after
she will look very tired and drained. The will be shown by her having very pale skin and
dark circles under her eyes. The voodoo man will have red contact lenses to add effect
to his mysterious character.
Props – Sacred knife

accepted into society.
