3. Our Idea
 We wanted to do a dance song and we settled for fools
gold, because we didn’t want anyone performing as we
thought the videos we’ve seen with performers look
cheesy and we didn’t find a performer
 We then decided change the song because we didn’t
think we could put a good narrative together to fools
gold as there aren’t many lyrics

4. Idea
 We choose the song Wretch 32 Unorthadox because
the sound track is very similar to fools gold so we could
keep it 90’s dance themed but could add a better
narrative.
 Our idea for the video is use the lyrics in the song to
create a good narrative to build our video around but
also use our original idea of having a dance video.

 We wanted to keep the video quite psychedelic with
a reference to 90’s rave seen throughout the video.
The idea is that the person is under the influence of
drugs and his having flashbacks and hallucinating.
 The lyrics ‘don’t follow no crowd’ are we where we
have got the idea for the main part of the video
where the person will be being followed by several
anonymous people wearing white mask. WE got this
idea from the film Purge Anarchy.

 The storyline is essentially someone is going to a rave
and the physiological journey there after he has taken
drugs.

 Fools gold- We liked the sound track of this song
however there is not a lot of lyrics and the lyrics which
are sung are unclear.
 We have also watched a lot of this is England, because
we are basing our music video in the 90’s

8.  We also looked at the song Setting Sun which was
sung by The Chemical Brothers. We looked at this
song because it is set at a festival and it was made in
the 90’s

9. Target audience: What
attracts people to our video
 We have based our video around two very popular aspects:
 90s Style- with the revival of the 90s style rushing through the
UK and the final installment of ‘This is England 90’ the 90s is back.
This gave us an idea to then make our video 90s themed to keep
up to date. Due to the mass redistribution of 90s clothes such as
bucket hats and track jackets we feel involving this in our work will
encourage our target audience to watch our video.
 90s Tunes- originally our group wanted to do ‘Fools Gold’ by
The Stone Roses, who were arguably the most influential band of
the 90s and who have also seen a rise in popularity during this 90s
revival this also meant more people would have an interest in the
video. We liked this song due to its extremely catchy tune.
