The objective of it is to maximise the sales
revenue, market share and profit margin .
It is best suited for companies with wide and
diverse range of products
Product Management System
It discusses product strategy of product and
roadmap to implementation and maximisation of
profit from it .
To allocate knowledgeable and experienced
professionals as product managers
Product management system can help in
diversifying already a wide scale organisation
Hypothesis
The president has majorly considered only the
profit responsibility factor in taking the decision.
Resources are least considered and complexities
in the implementation
He wants people to be accountable for what they
do.
The hierarchy of the organisation will come under
scepticism

The product management system has its own
problems when it comes to dealing with crisis as
even though there are people who are responsible .
People will be forced to work together And better
team work can be expected.
He wishes to delegate responsibilities and authority
between different people.
Limitations
Economic implementation for this is in question and the
resources available for a company are scarce
Marketing and Advertising people would be under
tremendous pressure.
There will be tremendous overload of rules for one particular
person as it will force people to do multiple tasks at same
time and will also cause role conflict.
There will be lack of role recognition.
It is a time consuming process
Recommendations
No need to restructure the entire staff in the product Matrix structure
Find solution which are economically feasible
Create strategic and operational planning for every department
Create applications and fetch accountability from Vice Presidents of
each department
Timely communication of the president with the lower departmental
staff
Review meeting should be held on weekly, monthly and daily basis of
every department in order to tap respective progress about the product
Performance charts would be put up of every department
