1) Students will create an interactive "Facebook" page for a historical figure from the late 19th century United States who was important to the growth of industrial society, such as Andrew Carnegie, Eugene V. Debs, Boss Tweed, or Jane Addams.
2) The page will include basic biographical information about the figure, their personal views, six friends they may have had, a status update on how events increased opportunity, and a dialogue with others' views on that topic.
3) Students can earn up to 100 points total for completing different elements of the interactive page assignment, such as biographical details, personal views, friends, status update, dialogue, and visual elements.
