This document provides instructions for students to create a Facebook-style profile for a historical figure as part of a school project called the "All About Me Museum." Students are asked to include information like the person's photo, name, birthdate, hometown, education, work, interests, places traveled, and important events from their life. They also include "friends" of the figure, photos illustrating their life, important documents, and a bibliography with sources. The goal is for students to learn about historical figures and present their lives as if on social media.

You can complete one or more of the

Date: is an order issued by the United States President on January 1, 1863, during the Civil Warn Civil
War using his war powers. It was not a law passed by Congress. It proclaimed the freedom of slaves in
