Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was born in
Selonica in 1881.His father’s name was Ali
Rıza Efendi and his mother’s name was
Zübeyde Hanım. He had a sister .Her name
was Makbule.
After his primary education, he
enrolled in Military High School in 1893.In
1905,he graduated from Military Academy
with the rank of Captain. He drew the
attention of the world with his victory in
Çanakkale was unpassable. After the
enemies occupied İstanbul, he went to
Samsun. There he started the Independence
War.On 30th August 1922, The Turkish Army
won the ultimate victory under the
commandership of Mustafa Kemal.
On 29th October 1923, he founded
the Turkish Republic and the parliament
elected him as the first president of the new
Republic.After the war, he made a lot of
reforms in politics, social life and education
system. In 1934, The Turkish Grand National
Assembly granted him the surname Atatürk.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk died in
Dolmabahçe Palace in İstanbul in 1938.

Diana, Princess of Wales was born in Norfolk in 1961 Her nickname was “Lady Di”. Her
father’s name was Edward John Spencer and her mother’s name was Frances Shand
Kydd .She had three siblings called Sarah Elizabeth Lavinia, Jane Cynthia,and Charles.
She married Prince Charles in 1981.She had two sons Prince William and Hary. Diana
did a lot of work to help and comfort people. She said “I would like to be a queen in the
hearts of people.” She visited hospitals, schools etc. She also dealt with serious
illnesses and health, including AIDS and leprosy. Besides that, she supported
organizations working with the homeless children, drug addicts and elderly. She
divorced in 1996. One year later she died in a car accident

born in 1403 in Semerkand. He wrote many scientific books and textbooks on astronomy.
He drew the map of the moon for the first time. Ottoman Sultan Mehmet II invited him to
Istanbul because he paid great attention to science and scientist. Some Works of Ali
Kuşçu have thousands of copies in handwriting in libraries all around the world. He lost
his life in 1474.
