However, traditional educational systems are founded on outdated principles that encourage teaching facts in silos rather than developing the ability to explore, discover, and question information. As a result, individuals are trained to be unthinking consumers rather than developing a capacity for self-directed learning. This approach supports those in power who wish to control the economy and prioritize wealth and power over developing true understanding in people.
