This document discusses the untapped potential for self-development that exists within every human being. However, traditional educational systems are founded on outdated principles that encourage teaching facts in silos rather than developing the ability to explore, discover, and question information. As a result, individuals are trained to be unthinking consumers rather than developing a capacity for self-directed learning. This approach supports those in power who wish to control the economy and prioritize wealth and power over developing true understanding in people.

2. Introduction
Every single human being holds untapped capacity to exert change and continuous
self-development. Indeed the only meaningful development possible is self-development.
Traditional schooling, both informal and formal, are founded on faulty cartesian logic or
newtonian principles which are taught across all form of educational institutions such as
schools or universities. This shows how evolution of categorising, specialising or
segmenting our knowledge has effectively forced our educational structures to encourage
silo-based teaching. Global schooling systems have been seen as “production lines” which
manufactures “unthinking consumers”. This portrays the essence of the post, as
individuals we have amazing potential, however our social structures such as our
education systems, are designed to teach us to recite facts instead of developing the ability
to explore and discover for ourselves. Complexity science and Quantium mechanics
display our potential as individuals however we remain locked into believing things
without questioning it?? This creates a problem as questioning is a form of probing and
leads us to greater understanding and discovery. Developing the ability to be “fed
information” without questioning is in fact an indication of our own laziness and
reluctance to develop better understanding and provides tactical support for those who
control our economy in pursuit of material wealth and power.
