2. 1 ST Shot- close up of hand before entering the dental surgery. This helps to build the tension up in this scene. 2 nd Shot- Medium shot to help to prolong the tension building and the use of gray scale helps to give it the horror and gloomy effect.

3. 3 rd Shot- the camera shows a close up of the equipment and the girl being shown in a smaller shot to give emphasis of the tools to be used in comparison to the girl in the shot. 4 th Shot- the close up of “the dentist’s hand” gives more tension in the scene as the girl is fearing the worst.

4. 5 th Shot- Medium shot used to get both characters in shot. This shot shows what the character was fearing going to “the dentist”. 6 th Shot- Medium close up shot of the girl holding her mouth and the fear she has of what the dentist may do to her. It is a good shot as we can see the emotion she is going through, as the body language explains so much.

5. 7 th Shot- a close up of the lead character’s face – showing her emotions with the way she appears to bite her finger nails. This shot shows clear facial expressions of the character. 8 th Shot – close up shot of when the dentist looks into her mouth and how in order to drown out what is occurring by breaking into an operatic singing tone.

6. 9 th Shot – close up of girl’s face whilst she opens her mouth and begins to sing. Her facial expression show gives us a clear indication as to why she was afraid of which was due to her having poor teeth or maybe because it was her first time at the dentist. 10 th Shot – a close up of her feet which shows us that she appears to be unable to cope with what is happening to her. It gives the indication of fear and a hint of sexual connotations due to the movement of her feet.

7. 11 th Shot – a medium shot of the two characters as the girl leaves the dental surgery. This is the 2 nd time that there was the usage of dialogue throughout the whole short film with the male lead telling her to make another appointment. Other than that there is very little use of speech at all. 12 th Shot – a medium shot of the girl as she walks away from the. From this we can see the girl is finally relieved as we can see her smile which make it appear as though she made a big fuss of going to the dental surgery for no real reason.

8. 13 th Shot – medium shot of the two characters as the girl leaves the dental surgery holding onto her belongings. 14 th Shot – medium shot of the dentist with some facial expression of what he thinks of the girl that just left the surgery and how serious he is in his role.

9. 15 th Shot (Final Shot) – close up of closing shot with the view of the location and the film title, to conclude the film.
