He is now trying to rebuild his career in entertainment and reconnect with his mother.

Documentary Pitch
- 2. Type of documentary - It will be a combination of a compilation film and an interview/talking heads film. - I will be adding archive images such as footage from Immy’s childhood demonstrating her speech at the time as well as including photos to show her growing up. - I will also be adding in interviews with ‘doctors’ and her family members discussing dyslexia. - VOG
- 3. Genre -It is an informative, educational documentary style so it will mainly be a serious piece. -factual documentary
- 4. Outline 1. The opening scene of my documentary will be school children spelling words then finishing the opening scene by having children & adults spelling the word ‘dyslexia’. Over the footage of the children I will have a voiceover explaining what we will be examining and why we will be following the life of a girl struggling with dyslexia. 2. I will begin the documentary by showing Immy’s life so perhaps her getting ready for school, then including her speaking to the camera about her subjects she has chosen. Followed by some images/videos of her when she was younger and her speaking about how she was picked on for her learning difficulty. 3. After introducing the character, I will then add doctors interview explaining briefly what goes on in the brain for this to happen. 4. I want to then concentrate on other children with the learning difficulty and how they are in class. 5. The end of the part 1 of the documentary will show Immy beginning a fundraising.
- 5. Locations When I’m following Immy’s story I will be filming in her bedroom when having interviews, her at school, in her house doing school work and shots of her walking to places for the setting. When following other children, I will be filming in school during lessons and interviewing in school too. For the doctor’s interview I will be filming in an office and use props to make it look like a doctor’s office.
