The FLEG Ukraine Program conducted several key activities from September 2009 to December 2010 related to sustainable forest management and illegal logging in Ukraine. These included analyzing legislation and regulations, identifying high-risk areas, assessing logging practices, developing recommendations, and conducting surveys to understand social and economic impacts. The program also worked on developing a timber tracking system, training forest authorities, and raising public awareness through publications, workshops, and other outreach.
