is a confusing housing market
where housing transaction
figures have stayed static for
four years, at 1.2 million per
annum. The slowdown in the
market has been particularly
noticeable in parts of London
previously considered prime
areas. These areas have seen a
20% reduction in annual turno-
ver over the past four years.
The gap between asking and
selling prices indicate a chan-
ge in vendor/ buyer dynamics.
Currently standing at 10% in
Central London, this gap shows
there are fewer buyers - which
is therefore making increased
demands on sellers. This jour-
ney of price discovery looks set
to continue across the UK.
