Analyzing a Design According to Principles
Flexibility, Balance, Proportion, and Function
Directions:
Analyze a given design according to established design principles. Answer the
questions below as they relate to the design. You may include a picture or diagram of
the product.
Flexibility
1. How does the design accommodate change?
Before television were placed in desk or a table but now people have new design
For television that fits in wall so it does not take extra space in the room.
2. How does the design accommodate future needs?
Probably in future television will be design much smaller and it can pop up
light all over the room most likely real things around you.
3. How does the design accommodate different uses?
There are many well design television some television fits in
wall, desk or in box.
Balance
4. What type of balance does the design represent? How can you tell?
The television balances horizontally and symmetrically
because most television is square size.
5. How does the design exhibit a sense of stability?
If we divide the design horizontally or symmetrically would be the same on
both side.
Proportion
6. How do the different parts of the design relate to one another in terms of their
sizes?
