• This problem was named after the
Cinderella Fairy Tale.
• It is based on the women in Cinderella.
• Cinderella is a beautiful, polite,
supportive, and hardworking woman
that is NOT liked by other females in
her society.
The Cinderella Complex
• She is not able to change her situations
with her own actions.
• Instead, she needs the help of an
exterior (or outside) force, A MAN.
• This idea says that women might feel
that they need men to take care of them,
or that they cannot do it themselves.
Now think about today.
• Can women help themselves to do
something on their own?
• Talk about it with a partner.
