products out there
and we need to
know which ones are
the right ones to buy.
THE SMART CUSTOMER
If we don’t know which
ones to buy we may be
getting a cheap product
or someone might try to be
tricking us. That is why we
have “Consumer Rights”.

What are Consumer
Rights Mr. Adam?
Well I am glad you
asked kids.
THE SMART CUSTOMER
These are rights that we
as consumers have just
in case a good is not
what it is supposed to
be.
THE SMART CUSTOMER
First of all the good must
be satisfactory as
described. If the good is
a blue coat it shouldn’t
be a red coat.
THE SMART CUSTOMER
So you should be
happy with your
purchase and not want
to return it.
THE SMART CUSTOMER
The good must also
work and last a
reasonable amount of
time. In other words it
shouldn’t break after
one hour of use.

RECEIPTS
A receipt is a piece of
paper saying you
bought the item. If the
item breaks or you want
to return it, the receipt
allows you to do so.
4. IF IT IS TOO GOOD
TO BE TRUE IT
PROBABLY IS.
If there is a deal on an
item or you can get
something for
unbelievably cheap it’s
probably not true.
