Let the students identify each picture whether homogeneous or heterogeneous
mixture.
C. Lesson Proper
Mixtures are made up of two or more elements physically combined together.
Examples are milk, coffee, sandwich and pizza.
There are two types of mixtures: Homogeneous and Heterogeneous. Homogeneous
mixture has a uniform composition and appearance. Examples are milk and coffee
solution. Heterogeneous mixture does not have a uniform composition and appearance.
Example are sandwich and halo-halo.

2. D. ACTIVITY
Let the students categorize the different examples of mixtures whether it
homogeneous or heterogeneous.
E. GENERALIZATION:
It is important to determine whether a mixture is homogeneous or
heterogeneous so that we will be more knowledgeable about the things around us.
Without the proper understanding of these two mixtures, we will be left clueless about
the things around us which we can observe using our 5 senses. Example, the mixture
you are drinking in the morning like milk, coffee, or tea or the food you are eating like ice
cream, pizza, or halo-halo.
