@CI350class- For our class, many things have been posted about what we are
learning about that week. Including links to help educated us more on the topic if we
are interested. Many topics have been posted like; storytelling, critical thinking, and
social media in the classrooms. One article that was posted stood out to me when a
child got banned from the classroom and denied medical care from the school nurse
because she didn’t stand up for the pledge of allegiance. I agree that we need to have
the kids think for themselves. If this student didn’t want to participate in the pledge
of allegiance, she clearly had an explanation for speaking out for herself.
