Bypassing the media, US-President Donald Trump is announcing his policy mainly via Twitter. This includes domestic issues as well as international diplomacy. How Social Media changed political communication and how diplomacy changed in the digital age (Twiplomacy). How social media can influence the political climate and how to do politics with 140 characters only.

2) Use digital platforms
Donald Trump has won the recent elections thanks in large part to his social media engagement and specifically his Twitter account.
Use all available social media channels Twitter, Facebook, Instagram to engage audiences.

A number of world leaders sit down for regular Twitter chats or answer questions via video.
Facebook Live and Periscope are currently great tools to do live Q&A sessions.
Russian Prime Minister has moved his social media activity from Twitter to Instagram,
where he occasionally posts mirror selfies to thank his followers.
The Prime Minister of Singapore knows how to engage his followers.
He even took a selfie on his hospital bed to reassure his followers.
And India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, even invited the Chinese Premier for a selfie on a visit in the Forbidden City.
