Evaluation
The purpose of thisbrief wasto produce a televisionsegmentwithaconceptandscript,the concept
was basedonif people shouldhave cosmeticsurgeryandhow italsoeffectsotherpeople.Asa
collective we all came upwithideasandrolesandwhat’swhatand whowill be takingthe roles.We
thenwentto setup inthe Tv studioon whatcamera connectsto the monitorsinthe room where
the musicand showingsof the tvshowwouldcontrolled.The rolespeoplewere assignedtowere as
followed,apanel of 4 people tointerview includingthe hostwhichmade 5,4 camera workers,1
director1 floormanagerandthree people inthe communicationsroomorganisingall the technical
equipment.There wassome compromisetothe segmentassome people thoughtthe topic thatwas
beingusedtodiscusswasnot neededandfeltshouldhave beenadifferenttopicbutlateronall
came to an agreementonthe plasticsurgery.
We firstdida practise run makingsure thateverythingwasinplace andcheckingthatall the
equipmentwasworkingandespeciallythe soundwasworkingandalsojusttogeta quickrun
throughof howthingswasgoingto happenduringthe tvshow.So once we checkedthat everything
was runningsmoothlywe didourfirstpropertake whichdidn’treallygoto planbutwe decidedto
continue,whatwe foundisthatwe still hadto adjustthe mic properlysothat we couldhere
everybodyproperlyonthe panel.Soonce we hadfixedthe problemwiththe micwe made asecond
attemptbutwas cut short as the hostthoughtto close off the debate meaningwe hadtotry again
the thirdtime around,but once tryingagainfor the 3rd
time we finallygotthe debate we wanted
whichlastedlonger.
The areas we couldimprove onismakingsure that we adjustthe mic correctly especially when
somebodyisonthe boompole butalso makingsure the boompole doesn’tgetinshot.
