Abstract
Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) led students feel anxious with a constant internal dialogue
of ‘Am I safe?’ that may take a serious toll on their psyche. The self-quarantine and physical
distancing, economic hardship and fears of contracting the disease are likely sources of stress.
Quite apart, students may also experience both physical sufferings and mental stress due to the
news of increasing number of infected cases and reported deaths across the globe. A range of
expert guidelines have been developed by governments and health authorities to curtail the
spread of the virus. This study models a position paper which persuades the reader to realize that
the opinions expressed are valid and could be defended. In gathering supporting evidence, an
online qualitative survey was conducted to examine the stress of students observing self-
quarantine and physical distancing in and around Desa Ilmu and Unigardern in Kota Saramarahan
as well as in apartments at Jalan Kingfisher Sabah. These students were invited as respondents
in this online investigation using interview protocol to take their responses. This study is among
the first to examine the stress and coping strategies of students observing self-quarantine and
physical distancing. The paper may provide useful information about how students cope in

The objective of this study is to make a comparison between five (5) most affected countries (USA, Brazil, U.K., Italy and India) of the world by Covid-19. The study is based on the secondary data. For conducting this study published data in online portal www.worldometers.info has been used. 4 months i.e. August 2020 to November 2020 has been chosen to carry out this study. For data analysis and interpretation Microsoft excel software (version 2019) has been used. Basic arithmetic technique and ratio analysis has been used in this study for data interpretation purpose. For measuring cyclical fluctuations in Covid-19 cases and its corresponding death cases, visual representation has been incorporated as bar diagram. Relevant images have been sourced from authentic sources and used in this study for satisfying the research objective. Finally the study has revealed that during the period of August 2020 to November 2020 Brazil is the most affected country and United States of America is the least affected country based on the mortality rate among the five countries taken as sample for this study

Embracing GenAI - A Strategic ImperativePeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Information develops along with the development of technology. Various types of
media have sprung up from print to electronic media. Lots of information that develops because
we have to choose information well. One of reading skills is knowing facts and opinions. We
can see our daily habits. When we are reading the internet news, of course we certainly give
our own opinions or comment. Likewise with the facts of events something that actually
happened and that we must also understand. Learning facts and opinions can we meet when we
learn Indonesian well from elementary, junior high, high school. (Dawami, 2020)Then we will
discuss the facts and opinions of the corona virus. This corona virus has existed since the end
of 2019 until the beginning of 2020 and even the health world was shocked by the spread of
this corona virus in China which has spread throughout other countries. Even at this time we
can know that this corona virus was very dangerous
Before we discuss what are facts and opinions about co-19, we must first understand in
detail what those facts and opinions are. Facts are events or circumstances that actually occur
and do not become a myth and we have seen the events themselves or have done a testing and
verification in the audience. Facts are also referred to as objective observations that can be
verified by anyone. And facts must have data that is more accurate, objective and actually
happens. whereas opinion is an idea, thought, or opinion that is not objective and has not been
validated. (Parta, 2020).
In addition to understanding facts and opinions, we will also understand in advance what
Covid-19 is. According to WHO, the corona virus is a large family of viruses that can cause
disease in animals or humans. In humans corona is known to cause respiratory infections
ranging from the common cold to more severe illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory
Syndrome (MERS), and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Covid-19 symptoms
are generally fever, fatigue, and dry cough. And many patients who experience pain, nasal
congestion, sore throat, but these symptoms are mild and occur gradually. However, over
time it turns out that the virus is increasingly dangerous. According to WHO, the virus is
spread from person to person through small droplets from the nose or mouth that spread when
a person coughs or exhales. This drop then falls to the right that is touched by other people
(Budiansyah, 2020).
And as for some corona virus facts: Spread to other countries: the virus that can cause
pneumonia first appeared in Wuhan City, the Chinese Government said the virus originated
from wild animals sold in the seafood market in Shandong, since then infected travelers from
Wuhan have been transmitting the virus to other countries and even to Indonesia (Fadli,
2020). Corona virus is also transmitted between humans, but this transmission is in direct
contact. If our immune system is healthy and also good then we can prevent coronavirus, by
always diligently maintaining health, cleanliness, using good personal protective equipment,
the medical team will also avoid transmission of the corona virus. The incubation period is 14
days, so the clinical symptoms of the virus may appear even though it passes the thermal
scanner. Even patients who suffer from corona can also recover, because not all patients
experience respiratory failure or death. (Dewi, 2020). But we can also know that it turns out
3. that the symptoms of Covid-19 in children are lighter than in adults, because in a health
journal published by JAMA, it was revealed that this virus apparently attacks many adults
around the age of 49-56. Likewise health experts have not been able to find the factors that
cause not too severe the impact of this virus on children, therefore parents are advised to take
precautions so that their children stay healthy and are not infected with the corona virus
(Pratiwi, 2020). But until now, there is no evidence that shows that pets, such as dogs and
cats, can be infected with the corona virus, and until now there is also no scientific evidence
that can show that the corona virus can be transmitted by mosquito bites. (Ikhsania, 2020)
As stated at the beginning, in addition to a fact, there are also many opinions that have
emerged about the Corona virus, which is caused by someone eating a menu made from bats
in one of the restaurants in the city of Wuhan, in addition to that many opinions have also
emerged that this virus deliberately created by the Chinese government to destroy the ethnic
Uighur Muslims. And there is also another opinion that there is a leak in the biological
weapons production lab so that it spreads into a virus and then turns to attack backfires for
the Chinese government. (Abdurrahman, 2020)
And there are also those who wonder whether this virus originates from snakes eaten by
humans. Until now it has not been found to be exact, but since the corona virus spread in
December information that mentioned coronavirus originated from wild animals such as
snakes and bats. And thought to come from markets and wild animals in China. According to
Dr. Isaac Bogoch, this probably came from several animals jumping into humans.(Putsanra,
2020)
When corona is now a pandemic, it makes us aware of the importance of maintaining a
healthy body. This we can do by doing a healthy lifestyle and maintaining cleanliness. As we
should routinely wash hands, clean the surrounding area, do not touch surfaces that are
touched by others, do not touch the face with dirty hands. (Oktiani, 2020). In addition we also
do not be too panicked so that we can avoid the corona virus. We also need to always get
enough rest, always routinely to exercise in order to increase the body's metabolism, and
consumption of ginger drinks because, ginger contains curcumin which functions as an anti-
virus and anti-bacterial or germ. (Adit, 2020)
