- A survey was conducted by YouGov on behalf of CILIP, the library and information association, from January 19th-22nd, 2018 regarding trustworthy information. - The survey asked participants about their level of agreement with statements regarding finding trustworthy information and trusting professionals as sources of information. - The majority of respondents agreed that it is important to educate people on how to find trustworthy information, and that they trust information more when it comes from a professional in that field. However, respondents were more split on whether it is generally harder than ever to find trustworthy information.
