Overview
Founded in 2002, Oi is the largest telecommunications company in Brazil and the second
largest in Latin America. Oi provides fixed, mobile, broadband, and Pay TV services to
more than 74 million clients, including nine million business customers. Oi’s IT solution
portfolio includes data center services such as advanced colocation, hosting, outsourcing,
disaster recovery, and general applications management. In February of 2012, Oi reinforced
its positioning in Brazil’s IT market by launching the Oi Smart Cloud, Brazil’s first cloud
computing platform entirely held by a carrier.
Challenges
Oi understood that security was a key concern for its business clients interested in acquiring
