2. IPR
● Intellectual Property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such
as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs and
symbols, names and images used in commerce.
● Intellectual property Rights (IPR) are the legally recognized
exclusive rights to creations of the mind.
● IP is protected in law by Patents, Trade Marks, Copyrights,
Trade Secrets, Industrial Designs, Geographical Indications
and Utility Models.
● These enable people to earn recognition or financial benefit
from what they invent or create.
