Salma was diagnosed with kidney failure after presenting with weight loss, fatigue, and hyperpigmentation, and her creatinine level was found to be 7.3. She chose transplantation over dialysis. Both potential recipient and donor are blood type B, Rh positive and initial testing found them to be compatible. Examinations of both found them generally healthy with no major issues identified that would prevent transplantation.

illness
• The condition started on 25th of
November 2020 when patient
complained of weight loss,
generalized fatigue & periocular
hyperpigmentation.
• Full labs were done and accidentally
discovered high creatinine level = 7.3
• PAUS was done revealing bilateral
shrunken kidneys.
• Patient didn't initiate hemodialysis
and chose to proceed with renal
transplantation.
• Urine output: normal range.
