Transitions can be added between video clips in the scene line by dragging a transition into the space between clips. Alternatively, transitions can be manually added in the edit tab by selecting from the transition menu. Transitions help keep the video's flow moving and make it look more professional than a video without transitions.

1. Transitions
In the scene line there is a space in-between each of the different scenes where you can drag
a transition, and the program will put the two clips together and the transition in-between.
If you don’t want to apply the transitions through the scene line you can always go to the edit
tab and select the transition menu so that you can manually add in all the different transitions
that you want. This will give you more of an idea of what you are putting in your video. You can
also drag the transitions from this menu into the scene line which enables you to see what you are
putting in.
Transitions are used mainly to keep the flow of the video moving, if you didn’t have any transitions
in your video then it would look incomplete and a lot less professional than with them in the video.
