This document provides information and instructions for partners participating in a collaborative project. It discusses the purpose of their initial meeting to get acquainted and discuss project steps. It emphasizes the importance of uploading materials to shared folders and pages rather than private diaries. Partners are encouraged to introduce their students on the TwinSpace and facilitate collaborative activities using tools like Padlet and Google Presentation. Instructions are provided for a shared activity using Mentimeter to generate a word cloud. The document also discusses organizing live online meetings between partner schools and documenting these meetings. It invites partners to create pages sharing more about their schools, countries, and cultures.

In The Moment: Creating an Interactive CommencementJess Krywosa
Each year, thousands of families sit passively awaiting the moment that their one graduate finally crosses the stage. But until that fleeting minute, they sit, hot, hungry, tired and anxious. Why not give them something to do?
Graduates too, wait, anxious, excited, taking pictures, texting, sharing video. Why not provide a place for them to share this experience together, online, collectively and archived for them to view and share later?
What about those who cannot make it to the ceremony? How do they share in the day?
Last May, Suffolk University found a way to capture all of the activity that commencement brings. Find out how we used our institutional website, livestream, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, FourSquare, Flickr, text to screen and pre-shot video to make commencement a living, breathing event for all to experience.

Stick & Click - the road towards friendly, classroom-centered interactive dig...Andrea Valente
In this project, we argue for the need of new kinds of visual, digital game authoring tools. The main goal for this project is to re-conceptualization the programming of interactive digital contents, to minimize the coding aspects, and focus instead on the creative and design-like parts, leveraging on a tangible metaphor, so to empower teachers and pupils to create digital interactive content, expanding the creative affordances offered by digital games. The resulting tool is called Stick&Click, it is based on findings from our past research, and it targets the pedagogical practice of editing games that is currently common in Danish primary schools. The study is organized according to the research through design approach, and centers around user needs and experience. We discuss our explorations of the computational model behind Stick&Click, requirements and design principles, and alternative ways to visualize its user interface.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. Why are we meeting today?
• To get to know each other
• To discuss the first steps of the project
especially
• collaborative activities
• live meetings
3. General info
IT IS IMPORTANT:
• to upload all materials in your folder (under MATERIALS) and to publish them
in the dedicated pages
• not to publish materials in the project diary, because
- it is not collaborative (students need to have all outputs of one step
collected in the same place, so as to exchange ideas)
- it is useless (when browsing the TwinSpace for the QL, evaluators won’t
scroll down the project diary posts to look at the products!)
4. IT IS IMPORTANT:
• to add your students to the TwinSpace
• to let them write in the forums, edit their profile, write to each other
(remember, there’s nothing they can damage or delete!)
• to take part in some collaborative activities (the TwinSpace is not a show of
individual works but an itinerary of collaboration).
5. INTRODUCTIONS
Collaborative activities
padlet & Google presentation
ebooks
We will let the new partners contribute to the INTRODUCTIONS page
(uploading their pics) but we will move on to step 1 (the object)
7. Step 1: an object I would take with me
1. Choose your tool freely
2. Choose your language freely (but maybe add a picture!)
3. Share your product in the page
4. Let your students free to contribute to the TwinBoard
5. Shared activity World Cloud with Mentimeter
8. Collaborating with Menti: how it works
• We will send to you a link and a code
• Just open the link, paste the code, and you will find the question «Which object
would you take?»
• Let your students answer, one by one, with ONE SINGLE WORD IN ENGLISH
• Please don’t give the link to your students, have they answer in front of you (if
they write something wrong, this can’t be deleted)
• The link will stay active from the 25th to the 31° of January
10. Organizing Live events
• Being so many and with so many different timetables (not to mention the sudden
«surprises»…) we cannot organize the live meetings for everybody
• The formula that works best, in our experience, is one to one
• Take your arrangements between partners and meet freely to discuss the different
steps (the more, the better!)
• Remember to document your meetings in the dedicated subpages (there is one
under each step). Few lines and pictures will be welcome.
11. «Something more about the partner schools» page
• If you want to let the partners know something more about you, your
country, your city, your school, feel free to create your own subpage.
• We are curious!
• You can share whatever here: national or local festivities, special days,
school shows… be creative!
