This screenplay introduces the main characters of Jessica Smith, a confident and outspoken police officer, and Dante Evans, a powerful and mysterious crime lord. The story begins with Jessica frustrated by Dante continually evading arrest. Her plan is approved by her boss John - she will go undercover to get close to Dante and gather evidence on his criminal activities. Over several months posing as Dante's girlfriend, Jessica struggles with whether to betray Dante's trust or the police investigation as she falls deeper into Dante's criminal world.

JESSICA SMITH
Brown hair, brown eyes, tan complexion, 5.3 height, tomboy.
Confident, sassy and outspoken.
DANTE EVANS
Black hair, brown eyes, tan complexion, 6.0 height and Italian
ancestry.
Confident, powerful, mysterious, dominating aura, anger
management issues.
SETTING
London, city oriented, gritty and raw appearance, not pleasant
and poverty is evident.
SCENE 1
EXT. Opening scene introduces the city of London and INT.
Zoom into the office Jessica works at.
JESSICA
(Slams hands onto the desk aggressively) I can't believe
these pricks got away with it again. How, how, how (rubs
temples of her head). God I am going to go crazy every goddamn
time. (Begins to furiously type on her computer and brings up
a picture of Dante, she points at the picture and whispers) I
will get you, somehow, you're time is running out.
INT. Change of setting to Dante Evans business building.
DANTE
(Standing at the front of the table with a glass of wine in
his hand) Welcome fellow associates, it's nice seeing you
after a very long and successful period in our careers (short
pause) I want to take this time to thank many of you who
contributed in our success. (Short pause) At this present time
we have elevated our profits to 100,000 a week and I shall
raise this glass to our success and profit with hopes that it
shall continue on in this manner. (Dante gestures everyone to
take a sip of their wine) Go ahead.

3. Dante ends up sitting down on his chair and gestures with his
hand for the rest of the men to also sit. Dante goes into deep
thought (camera close up of his face and slowly blur out).
SCENE 2
INT. Jessica is currently standing outside the head of the
police department John’s office. Jessica knocks at the door.
JOHN
COME IN!
JESSICA
(Walks in slowly, shutting the door behind her) Hi there sir.
How are you doing?
JOHN
(Brings all his attention towards Jessica) I'm good Jessica,
What brings you here?
JESSICA
Well sir I have a little situation to discuss with you (pause)
that is you have time right now?
JOHN
Go ahead I have time to spare, take a seat. (Gesturing with
his hands)
JESSICA
Well (pause) I guess you probably heard about our failure to
bring down Dante Evans business.
John: Yes, yes I have unfortunately heard, continue.
JESSICA
I have a plan to bring these disgusting people down (Looks at
John for conformations to continue) what I have planned will
guarantee to ruin Dante and his corrupt empire. (Pauses,
looking at John)
JOHN
Well continue then.

4. JESSICA
My plan is to go undercover and somehow become Dante Evans
girlfriend. While undercover I shall bring as much information
as possible, if possible dates for his future drug and weapon
transactions.
JOHN
And what make YOU think that I will allow such a thing?
JESSICA
Sir! Give me this opportunity and I’ll do you proud (Pause) I
can't stand that Dante is walking around freely and ruining so
many innocent lives.
JOHN
(After a long pause) and are you sure that this is going to
work. Is there a hundred percent chance that he will be in
prison by the end of your plan?
JESSICA
Yes sir!
JOHN
Are you sure Jessica, you can end up dead at the end of this.
Jessica: Yes sir I am (stern voice).
JOHN
Well (pause) you sound like you have everything to plan and we
are also here for help and back up. I will give you this
opportunity to prove yourself. (Leans back on his chair) Go
ahead now; tell the rest of the department so we can start
putting your plan into action.
JESSICA
Thank you sir. (Walks out the room)
SCENE 3

5. EXT. Jessica parks outside the club that Dante goes to on a
regular. INT. She walks in and walks in and starts looking to
spot Dante. Jessica spots Dante and takes opportunity to bump
into him.
JESSICA
(Walks into Dante) OMG! I am so sorry. (Looks up at Dante)
DANTE
That's fine, just watch out at where you're walking next
time.
JESSICA
(Brings out her hand) Jessica by the way.
DANTE
(Shakes her hand) Dante.
JESSICA
So are you here alone?
DANTE
(Raises an eyebrow and smirks) Alone (pause) you?
JESSICA
Me too (pause) Do you come here on a regular?
DANTE
Yeah, How about you?
JESSICA
First time (pause) would you like to sit somewhere?
DANTE
(Thinks about it) Sure, why not.
They sit and start conversing with each other about everything
and anything.
SCENE 4

6. 2 months in
JESSICA
So (pause) Dante what will you being doing today?
DANTE
Well Jessica (sarcastic tone), I am preparing for my next
transactions.
JESSICA
(Nods her head) Oh okay, well enjoy. (Smiles)
Dante walks out after getting ready.
JESSICA
(In deep thought) This is the opportunity I have been waiting
for. (Picks up the phone) Hello.
Jessica is having an internal battle, to tell or not. She ends
up slamming the phone down
JESSICA
I can’t, I can't do this. (Slumps onto the chair) Not now,
I’m not ready (pause) and I haven’t got enough information
gathered so this would be useless. I need to wait. Be patient
Jessica, be patient.
SCENE 5
Jessica’s sister Topaz is over while Dante is out and they are
having a heated discussion about if Jessica should tell the
police or not.
JESSICA
I can die Topaz. Why did I even commit to this?
TOPAZ
Jessica calm down.

7. JESSICA
TOPAZ… I can’t if I tell the police department I would be
betraying Dante but if I don’t I will be betraying police
department. It feels like I’m stuck in a situation that I
can’t ever leave.
TOPAZ
Jessica you are not making anything better by panicking, if
you continue you like this it will mess up somewhere and it
will be your life on the line.
JESSICA
My life is already on the line, if Dante ever finds out who I
am he will kill me without a second thought. (Rubs her face in
frustration)
TOPAZ
Listen Jessica… your my older sister and I hate you being so
weak like this, stop this or my respect for you will
disappear. You’re just making everything worst by doing this
to yourself.
JESSICA
Listen I just need some time to think this over and I know I’m
stressing but that’s just a small price I will pay for this.
(They hear a door unlock downstairs and footsteps going up
stairs)I think you should go his here.
Topaz
(Gets up and collects her things and gets ready to
leave)Listen stop stressing, that’s all I’m trying to say and
please be careful, I don’t want to get a phone call from the
police telling me you died in some ditch.(Walks towards the
front door)
JESSICA
Yeah, yeah whatever… bye, I’ll talk to you later. (Pushes her
through the front door and waves at her)
SCENE 6
4 Months In

8. DANTE
I am leaving to deal with some business.
JESSICA
What business?
DANTE
None of YOUR business.
JESSICA
Dante… tell me!
DANTE
Listen I have another drug deal that I need to go to.
JESSICA
What, in the same warehouse you always go to?
DANTE
YES JESSICA, why are you asking so many questions?
JESSICA
Nothing just curious (walks out the room)
DANTE
I’m leaving. (Jessica doesn’t answer back)
JESSICA
(Hears the door slam) This is it, its now or never I need to
call john. (Picks up the phone)
