- I have heard, people use it for finding job!
I personally feel, it is one of the cheapest, and most efficient medium to reach out new business opportunities and engage customers. These interactions triggered me to do some research, so as to answers some of these questions.

Executive Summary Part 3 -- Who's Winning the Artificial Intelligence Race be...Paul Schulte
In the spirit of collaboration, I am releasing part 3 of the executive summary (of our 560 page report comparing the big 5 in China and the big 5 in the US).
Part 3 looks first at the internal direction of R&D for each company. US firms are focusing on language, data anlytics and robotics. In a dramatic contrast, Chinese firms are focusing on financial applications, blockchain and computing. Then it looks at the patterns of external M&A. US firms are focusing on consolidating monopoly positions as well as physical assets such as Motorola, Nokia. Why? Chinese firms are acquiring lifestyle companies. Third, we look at the excess cash flow for M&A for tech companies (and market cap to use stock) and the paucity of cash flow for banks. Are banks simply running out of cash flow to buy or build a viable future? Lastly, we do a detailed credit analysis of all companies. Interesting results. Baidu’s credit data are deteriorating at the fastest rate.
To receive the full 560 report, send your email to paul@schulte-research.com. I personally hired several exceptionally talented students from UST and USC. Please support our students -- and pay them a superior wage. They are our future. I am available to go through the entire report in a 90 minute consultation.

ViewShift: Hassle-free Dynamic Policy Enforcement for Every Data LakeWalaa Eldin Moustafa
Dynamic policy enforcement is becoming an increasingly important topic in today’s world where data privacy and compliance is a top priority for companies, individuals, and regulators alike. In these slides, we discuss how LinkedIn implements a powerful dynamic policy enforcement engine, called ViewShift, and integrates it within its data lake. We show the query engine architecture and how catalog implementations can automatically route table resolutions to compliance-enforcing SQL views. Such views have a set of very interesting properties: (1) They are auto-generated from declarative data annotations. (2) They respect user-level consent and preferences (3) They are context-aware, encoding a different set of transformations for different use cases (4) They are portable; while the SQL logic is only implemented in one SQL dialect, it is accessible in all engines.

7. Education IT, June 20167
Education IT : History
Education IT incorporates companies which provide software solutions to schools, universities and corporates. Since the early
1960’s when PLATO System, the first supercomputer was developed by the University of Illinois, people have tried to
conceptualize and build machines that could make the work of a teacher easier. In 1967 In 1967 Computer Curriculum
Corporation ( now Pearson Education Technologies) was formed to market to schools the materials developed through the IBM
partnership. Pearson is now one of the leaders in the field of Education Technology.
In 1983 the foundations of what was going to be known as Learning Management system was laid in a joint venture between
MIT and IBM known as Project Athena. Its was the first distributed computing environment for educational use. Companies
tried to create online assessment platform for online assessments and grading. Companies like Curriculum Associates and
Scantron were formed to provide automation is assessment creation and grading.
Content management was the next problem that the companies tried to solve. Companies like ClassFlow came in to manage the
content of the schools and provide a secure network to access it.
Learning management systems were commercialized with coming of Blackboard in 1997 wherein it tried to solve the problem of
fragmented resources in a school. A platform was created for not only storing and accessing the content but also integrated with
assessments.
