Miguel Angel was an influential 16th century artist born in Italy who excelled in architecture, painting, and sculpture. He is admired for his perfectionism and prolific body of influential works, including frescoes in the Sistine Chapel like The Creation of Adam and The Last Judgment. As an architect, he worked on numerous projects in Florence and Rome, restoring many buildings and designing works like the Florence library and Capitolio square.
