 Nathiagali is a mountain resort town, hill station in Abbottabad
District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a part of
the Galyat range, where several hill-stations are situated, closely
connected to each other. It is situated 34 kilometers at one hour's
drive away from both Murree and Abbottabad, lying midway
between these two places.
 The scope of project includes multiple activities common in an
adventure theme park such as; Bungee Jumping, Tree To Tree
Hopping, Zip Liners, High Rope Course, Climbing Towers, Tree
Top Walkway, Bobsledding, Rock Climbing, Luge Segway, Twin
Drop, Other Eco-friendly Activities, Parking Areas, Emergency
Health Unit, pre-fab chalets and Restaurant.
 The total cost of all facilities for an adventure theme park will
amount to Total Investment: Rs 780 Million.

There are numerous valleys in Pakistan, and each one of them is

amazing valley with its collection of amazing flora and fauna, along
with its pristine surroundings is the green heart of northern Pakistan and
is known by the name of Shogran Valley.
The site is full of scenic beauty and a cable car project to this site will
enhance the beauty of the site and will attract more national and
international tourist.

tourists flock to Ayubia National Park and the places around
every year. It is well known for its picnic spots.

Chakdara has been an important center for the last 3500 years and is
littered with remains of the Gandhara grave culture, Buddhist sites, and
Hindu Shahi forts. It’s also located on the alternative CPEC route.
Chakdara is expected to become a hub for tourist going to Dir, Chitral
and Swat. It is therefore, intended to be established as a tourist
destination having the basic facilities along with white water/ fresh water
rafting, boating and canoeing.

Swabi District is a district in the province of Khyber

The site is located near the Swabi Museum where Alexander monument is
also standing reminding the past glory of the site. The tourists can enjoy
staying facility backed up by water sports activities. Boating, canoeing,
water scooters and allied facilities are to be established. It also shall
encompass the state of art sports facilities.

Shandur Top (el. 12,200 feet (3,700 m)) located in Chitral District,
Chitral-Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. Shandur is often called the 'Roof of the
World'. The top is flat, a plateau and can be crossed between late April and
early November.
Shandur invites visitors to experience a traditional polo tournament which
since 1936 has been held annually in the first week of July between the
local teams of Gilgit and Chitral. The tournament is held on Shandur Top,
the highest polo ground in the world at 3,700 meters (the pass itself is at
3,800 meters). The festival also includes Folk music, dancing and a
camping village is set up

Intended Objective & Purpose of Proposed Project The project is to develop Pakistan’s 1st ever Adventure Theme Park in the Galliyat area, providing therein all kind of Recreational/Adventure facilities based on International standards for tourists and facilitation of International travelers/tourist on CPEC route. 2. Description and Scope of the Proposed Project& Estimated Capital Investment  Nathiagali is a mountain resort town, hill station in Abbottabad District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. It is a part of the Galyat range, where several hill-stations are situated, closely connected to each other. It is situated 34 kilometers at one hour's drive away from both Murree and Abbottabad, lying midway between these two places.  The scope of project includes multiple activities common in an adventure theme park such as; Bungee Jumping, Tree To Tree Hopping, Zip Liners, High Rope Course, Climbing Towers, Tree Top Walkway, Bobsledding, Rock Climbing, Luge Segway, Twin Drop, Other Eco-friendly Activities, Parking Areas, Emergency Health Unit, pre-fab chalets and Restaurant.  The total cost of all facilities for an adventure theme park will amount to Total Investment: Rs 780 Million. 3. Proposed Location(s) The Proposed site is located in Nathia gali, which is situated in the north east of Islamabad and in near vicinity of main CPEC route (34 Km). Nathia gali [34° 4' 20" N 73° 23' 55"E] 4. Summarized Justification - Financial. Total Net Income expected Rs 126 million per annum. (approximately) a. Return On Investment: = 16.15 % b. Payback Period: = Approx. 6 Years 5. Summarized Justification – Technical & Commercial.  Establishment of adventure theme park is technically and commercially viable as the area have all the natural features for it.  It’s the most popular destination for National & International tourist in the country.  Commercially it has the strength to generate the desired level of revenues and can meet its investment costs in approximately six years. 6. Type & Mode of Collaboration Sought. Through public private partnership, BOT or any mean mutually agreed by the department and Investor. 7. Attraction in proposed Project for Foreign Investors/ Partners.  Best suitable place for an Adventure theme park.  The most visited place by tourist in Pakistan annually  Placed on the main CPEC route  Had great potential to be developed as international tourist spot

This site has attraction for the local tourist in weekends and people visit the site to enjoy the greenery of the site on different picnic spots. This site currently offers day time activates or picnic spot for local community which can be transformed into a health recreational hill top having state of the art tourist attractions. 2. Description and Scope of the Proposed Project & Estimated Capital Investment.  Mahaban Hill in Gadoon has a scenic beauty. The Bir Galai resort is located here, 5,300 feet (1,600 m) above sea level. From here, one can see Mansehra, Buner and Kaghan Hills. Bir Galai site is mountainous terrain with lush green hills of low altitude.  The scope of project includes Restaurants, hotels, Children & Family parks, Food huts, hiking & tracking activities, Picnic spots.  The total cost of all facilities will amount to Total Investment: Rs 600 Million. 3. Proposed Location(s) Pir Galai is at a travel distance of 2 hours from Peshawar and Islamabad. Pir Galai [34° 17' 27.31" N 73° 43' 45.16" E] 4. Summarized Justification - Financial Total Net Income expected Rs 98.6 million per annum. (approximately) a. Return On Investment: = 16.43 % b. Payback Period: = Approx. 6 Years 5. Summarized Justification – Technical & Commercial  Establishment of recreational hill spot is technically and commercially viable as the area have the potential and scope.  Currently large numbers of people visit this place for recreation purpose on weekends. 6. Type & Mode of Collaboration Sought. Through public private partnership, BOT or any mean mutually agreed by the department and Investor. 8. Attraction in proposed Project for Foreign Investor / Partner.  Best suitable place for Recreation in this area.  Placed along the CPEC route  Had great potential to be developed as a tourist site 9. Type of Partnering Organization Sought. State-owned, state-supported and private sector entrepreneurs and investors.

  • 5. Sector: Tourism & Culture Project: Cable Car & Tourism Activities at Shogran to Siri Paye 1. Intended Objective & Purpose of Proposed Project. There are numerous valleys in Pakistan, and each one of them is extremely beautiful. However, one valley stands out from the rest. This amazing valley with its collection of amazing flora and fauna, along with its pristine surroundings is the green heart of northern Pakistan and is known by the name of Shogran Valley. The site is full of scenic beauty and a cable car project to this site will enhance the beauty of the site and will attract more national and international tourist. 2. Description and Scope of the Proposed Project& Estimated Capital Investment  Shogran is situated on a green plateau in the Kaghan Valley, northern Pakistan at a height of 7,749 feet or 2,362 meters above sea level. From Shogran, you can ride a jeep or horse or hike to several picturesque places like Siri, Paye and Makra Peak.  The project will consist of whole package containing Cable car, Restaurant, Prefab log homes, Camping, Trekking & hiking, Skywalk and Parking areas.  The total cost of all facilities will amount to Total Investment: Rs 1674 Million. 3. Proposed Location(s) The base station will be Shogran with other recreational activities and the top station will be Paye with prefab homes and Skywalks. Shoran [34° 38' 22.21" N 73° 27' 38.97" E] 4. Summarized Justification - (Financial ) Total Net Income expected Rs 235 million per annum. (approximately) a. Return On Investment: = 14 % b. Payback Period: = Approx. 7 Years 5. Summarized Justification – Technical & Commercial Establishment of cable car system is technically and commercially viable as the area have all the natural features for it and that it's the most popular destination for domestic tourism in the country. Commercially it has the strength to generate the desired level of revenues and can meet its investment costs in few years. 7. Type & Mode of Collaboration Sought. Intended Objective & Purpose of Proposed Project The Galiyat area is the prime summer resort in Abbottabad district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Ayubia is in the closed vicinity of Galiyat. The site currently have a chairlift system operational that can be transform and upgraded into a Recreational & entertainment facilities at the base and top station. 2. Description and Scope of the Proposed Project& Estimated Capital Investment  Ayubia National Park also known as Ayubia is a protected area of 3,312 hectares (8,184 acres) located in Abbottabad District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Standing at some 26 kilometers from the tourist hotbed of Murree Hill Station, over 10,00,000 tourists flock to Ayubia National Park and the places around every year. It is well known for its picnic spots.  The project will consist of up gradation of chairlift, providing new recreational activities, hill climbing spots, restaurants, Family Park and Parking areas.  The total cost of all facilities will amount to Total Investment: Rs 879 Million. 3. Proposed Location(s) Located between Abbottabad and Murree 80 km north-east of Islamabad, Pakistan. Ayubia [34° 01' 43.26" N 73° 24' 15.62" E] 4. Summarized Justification - Financial Total Net Income expected Rs 160 million per annum. (approximately) a. Return On Investment: = 18.2 % b. Payback Period: = Approx. 5.4 Years 6. summarized Justification – Technical & Commercial There is an existing Chairlift which needs major replacement and up gradation to cater for ever increasing no. of tourist with improved safety mechanism and facilitation for the tourist, in an environment friendly manner. 7. Type & Mode of Collaboration Sought. Through public private partnership, BOT or any mean mutually agreed by the department and Investor. 8. It is one of the scenic valleys of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and a picturesque spot for travelers. 3. Description and Scope of the Proposed Project& Estimated capital Investment  JAZZ Banda have all the natural attractive features such as cool water River, lush green meadows, shady Forests, water streams, lakes and snowcapped Mountains to attract tourist from all over the country as well as International Tourists.  The project scope will include Chairlift scheme, Administration, Restaurants, Hotel, Commercial Area, Food Courts, Camping Pods, Bar.
