Toru Narihiro
Toru Narihiro is a Japanese video game producer and hardware developer, the founder of
Intelligent Systems, and a principal figure in the development of the Fire Emblem series. He was
born in 1963 in Okayama, Japan.
He has been involved in the series since its first release, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the
Blade of Light, and has served as the producer of every game in the series since Fire Emblem:
The Blazing Blade. Along with Yuka Tsujiyoko, he is one of only two people to be credited as
working on every Fire Emblem game.
He has worked on the majority of the currently released Fire Emblem games up until 2018.
During his time working on these games, he worked as a main producer but sometimes
worked as a chief conductor and/or program conductor.
Aside from Fire Emblem, he has also worked on many other games that are just as popular.
Such as ‘Dragon Quest’, ‘Super Smash Bros. Melee’ and ‘Super Smash Bros. Brawl’.
Yuka Tsujiyoko
Yuka Tsujiyoko is a Japanese musician who was employed by Intelligent Systems from 1990
until 2001.
She has contributed to the soundtracks of every Fire Emblem series game, although she has
moved into a supervision role over the process since Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. Along
with Tohru Narihiro, she is one of only two people to have worked on every Fire Emblem game.
She has since contributed musical tracks to every Fire Emblem series game, including
personally composingall 114 tracks in Fire Emblem:Genealogy of the Holy War.She departed
from Intelligent Systems after the release of Paper Mario in 2001 and now works freelance,
but she still regularly collaborates with her former employer on Fire Emblem titles.
Along with Tohru, Yuka has worked on the majority of Fire Emblem games up until 2018 when
the final game for 3DS (Echoes: Shadows of Valentia) was released. During this time, she
normally would occupy as a sound supervisor.
Much like Tohru, she has also worked on other games that are just as popular. Such as ‘Super
Smash Bros. Melee’ and ‘Super Smash Bros. Brawl’.
