Cleared for Offtake: a new resource for the Sustainable Aviation Fuel supply ...KTN
KTN's Sustainable Aviation Fuel Special Interest Group unveils a new resource to support businesses deliver fuels to airlines.
KTN has launched a new document, available to download which seeks to arm businesses with information and guidance on producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) for the airline industry, which is constantly working to reduce its environmental impact.
‘Cleared for Offtake’, covers four themes relating to developing SAF:
- Fuel economics, commercialisation and scale up
- Sustainability
- Technical details
- Logistics
The document also provides information on organisations who can assist with those four themes.
Cleared for Offtake is a collaborative effort between KTN, Sustainable Aviation and fuel expert, Chris Lewis.
In an aircraft, health of the engine plays a very crucial role both in terms of cost and safety of an aircraft. Thus proper Engine Health Management (EHM) is significant for the optimal performance of the aircraft engine. But to democratize the idea that EHM will be done only by engine manufacturers, providing access of engine data to other stakeholders is necessary. Considering android as an obvious choice as an open source secure platform, if ported on PowerPC, primes and OEMs can do EHM independently. eInfochips overcame biggest challenge of difference in endianness and successfully ported Android on PowerPC.

The Embraer Executive Jet Services center is the maintenance support for the Embraer Executive fleet for Europe Middle East & Africa. Located in Le Bourget, France, the center implemented Critical Chain Project Management to reduce aircraft downtimes. From an average of 9 weeks, the team cut the Turn-Around Time by over 40% and reduced by 50% the labor hours per job without compromising quality.
Dynamic scheduling, which takes into account the uncertainties and variability that are unavoidable in this type of activity, enables them to meet the commitments promised to customers. By setting up the Fever Chart Portfolio for the whole hangar, the Embraer team has a clear visibility of the progress of the work and a calm management environment.
The conference presented the successes, challenges and next steps of this transformation.

Industries in particular generate enormous amount of wastes which can cause serious pollution in the environment. Water pollution mainly occurs due to the presence of dissolved inorganic materials, organic materials, other substances found in domestic and industrial wastewater and their subsequent products. The main objective of the wastewater treatment is to dispose the treated effluent without causing an adverse impact on the ecosystem of receiving water body and the compliance with stipulated norms and standards.

Understanding User Needs and Satisfying ThemAggregage
https://www.productmanagementtoday.com/frs/26903918/understanding-user-needs-and-satisfying-them
We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.
Industry expert Scott Sehlhorst will:
• Introduce a taxonomy for user goals with real world examples
• Present the Onion Diagram, a tool for contextualizing task-level goals
• Illustrate how customer journey maps capture activity-level and task-level goals
• Demonstrate the best approach to selection and prioritization of user-goals to address
• Highlight the crucial benchmarks, observable changes, in ensuring fulfillment of customer needs

Putting the SPARK into Virtual Training.pptxCynthia Clay
This 60-minute webinar, sponsored by Adobe, was delivered for the Training Mag Network. It explored the five elements of SPARK: Storytelling, Purpose, Action, Relationships, and Kudos. Knowing how to tell a well-structured story is key to building long-term memory. Stating a clear purpose that doesn't take away from the discovery learning process is critical. Ensuring that people move from theory to practical application is imperative. Creating strong social learning is the key to commitment and engagement. Validating and affirming participants' comments is the way to create a positive learning environment.
