6. Innovative Cutter is a cutting board
knife which allows foods to be cut
quickly without any mess .The handle
design is similar to scissors or pliers.
For cutting, the handle has to be
squeezed. This will cause the blade of
the cutter to meet with the strong, flat
base that is attached to the other side
of the handle, effectively chopping,
slicing, or cutting whatever we want to
cut.
7. The suitable material for this cutter is stainless steel.This is because it's
hardwearing, corrosion resistant, and it doesn't affect the flavour of the
food when used for food storage or production. Due to the resistance level,
foods with high acidity won't cause damage.We use stainless steel for the
sharp blades and ergonomic handle make this kitchen food cutter a great
choice for fast chopping, mincing, dicing and cutting though a wide variety
of fresh vegetables and fruits.

9. In SOLIDWORKS firstly, we created solid 3D models , with a logical workflow that’s
similar to the processes which would be used to manufacture the part.
Operations includes extruding, extrude cut, line & circle properties, mate etc.
The biggest advantage of modeling in solidworks is that it is usually parametric,
means that the changes or parameters are saved at every stage of the modeling
process and can be edited at any time. This allows features of the model to be
quickly modified without needing to create the part from scratch.

• Normally cutters are manufactured with no
cutting board which create hurdles for
cutting all veggies, fruits etc.
• In innovative cutter, it is innovated by
adding cutting board of plastic is installed
at lower end of cutter for easy cutting of
veggies, fruits, meat etc of any size.
16. Innovative cutter is manufactured by
assembling its different parts.
• Its sharp blade is manufactured by
forging, shaping, hardening, polishing
process. Laser cutting machines can be
used for it.
• Its handle is manufactured by injection
molding machine as it is made of
plastic.

pressing process through press machine.
• Other small component (e.g. screw) is also
used for assembling of innovative cutter's
parts that are blades, handles & cutting
board.
• Screws are manufactured by forging & heat
treatment process.

19. DIFFICULTIES FACED
• As our part is made on SolidWorks which is a heavy
software so sometimes it start hanging & clashes, our
parts get losted.
• For accurate dimensions & design, parts were made &
assembled again & again beacause of multiple errors.
• Faced difficulties in assembling due to dimension &
mating errors, hence required lots of research.
• Learning & implementing same time results error
somtimes.
